this place is amazing. i am from Florida and have eaten here twice. the first time i had the fish sandwich with cheese. it was amazing. fried perfect and was huge. could’ve made two sandwiches out of the piece of fish. the second time i had the grilled chicken sandwich with bacon. the chicken was one of the best i’ve every had. had nice char marks that added flavor to the chicken. the french fries are delicious. the staff is amazing, friendly and if you ask , the chef ,owner Matthew will come out and chat with you. a great guy all around. was a pleasure to enjoy the cooking and wanted to eat there a few more times. but they are closed on Monday and Tuesday. but i would rate this place a solid 10 out of 10. i don’t always give 10’s out. but this place is a 10. you will not be disappointed at all.

No. This place is missing on every opportunity they should be capitalizing upon. Poor use of the space. Dismal, inept service. Annoyingly loud, obnoxious and foul-mouthed regulars. Annoyingly loud music (which, regrettably, isn't loud enough to drown out the foul-mouthed, obnoxious regulars). The bartender blatantly tried to pour me a bottom-tier well drink instead of the liquor I asked for - the hallmark of a failing bar (though in fairness, she was probably just trying to make a few extra bucks to help pay for her methadone). Sub-mediocre food and an utterly uninspired menu. And the saddest part of all is that I loved this place for years, as has my family. If they're still open next spring, I'll be amazed.

Moved to the area about a year ago. Have tried several times to try this place, hours are wonky. Finally got there and what a disappointment. The ambience is zero - had TV's on with no sound and NO music in the place. Was this a morgue? People were speaking to each other in hushed tones to get a little privacy since there was absolutely nothing to mask conversations. Oh, except for the guy at the bar alone with his Mazzotta Equipment Rentals T-shirt on, who thought it was OK to talk on his phone in a loud voice and use every expletive there is. Beverage menu is unexciting, limited and pedestrian. Food was mediocre at best. But the best was when the bill came. My husband ordered a Manhattan and they of course have only one bourbon that we've never heard of - he ordered it straight up (it came on the rocks), he ordered it with very little vermouth (they charged us an additional $3.25 for vermouth in a Manhattan - did these bartenders and managers go to bartending school? - doesn't a Manhattan come with vermouth?) on top of $15.00 for the drink. We questioned that and the bartender asked her manager who said, "no, that's right." Not to us. We will NEVER go back. And we entertain people from all over the country and recommend restaurants and the like - SKIP this one. No ambience, pedestrian food, mediocre service, and robber-barons for drinks.

This is a nice place sandwiched near the inner harbor of Padanaram. It's far less expensive than its snooty neighbor Small Moss, which seems to imagine that it's in the Hamptons or maybe Napa. The service is excellent, and the food and drinks were very good. Outside they've often got live music and inside is well-organized. It's more of a place for conversation or casual gatherings than a foodie destination, but I've always enjoyed the simple dishes and the summer seaside village atmosphere.

The bartender was super friendly and very knowledgeable. I recommend this place purely on my experience at the bar. Top notch. The bartender said his name is Sea-Bass

I give this place a shot every summer and it disappoints every summer. The food is bland. They don't have lobster rolls...... It's summer in New England! The drink was not good and the service is always super slow. Will not be back. Hire a new cook!

Great drinks, service could use a slight upgrade. I spend a lot of time here with my friends and always have a good time.

The service here was delightful and attentive. I really liked the attention paid towards the specials, and how were directed through the menu.We sat in the outdoor section, which felt very comfortable and homey. Like we were in a perfect backyard picnic. There was live music and twinkling lights, which added to the atmosphere. The food was delicious. We enjoyed our appetizers and our entrees. The seafood was especially fresh tasting, with the Fish and Chips and LongNeck Clams being special standouts for being well-friend and still incredibly tender.
