I tried a selection of their cookies today and honestly I don't understand the hype or the pricing. I don't know what I was expecting but I was definitely expecting more than I experienced. The oatmeal raisin looked and tasted as if I made them myself. Very dense and dry. I do like the fact they loaded it with raisins that's great but over the oatmeal cookie part was not even top 5 best oatmeal raisin that I've had. I also tried the chocolate chip and crushed mint cookie which had like peppermint crushed on the top. It was an odd flavor combination and again a dryness to the cookie itself. Idk if they make their cookies daily or if they were getting stale but for my first experience trying 2 kinds and both were mediocre cookies. I'd rate them a 6 out of 10 so 3 stars out of 5 seems fair. Maybe it was a bad batches a bad day for them maybe they have others that are more moist and tastier idk but I don't think I'll go back and waste the money.

As the property manager of 304 elderly apartment units, we have been using Black Tie Cookies for years when one of our residents loses their spouse. The cookies are delicious, and the customer service is excellent. I sometimes forget to switch an address or to sign the card and they are always good about accommodating me when I realize it or have even reached out to me when they realize that I’ve made a mistake. I love the quick turnaround time as with a sympathy gift, I want it to be fast. The residents seem to truly appreciate the gift and we like supporting a local business.
