I went to gumbo restaurant this past Tuesday it was very good the service was excellent I had the combination plate the price was very good had to take it home they give you a lot I finished my meal yesterday I would go again

I ordered in person for a to go meal. I asked for bread pork cutlet & white rice with extra gravy. I got breaded pork cutlet with fried rice & a cup of duck sauce. It was disgusting & I tossed the food out. Getting an over the phone order wrong is bad but in person is so much worse. I'm not sure I'll ever go back.

Great place to eat..been going there for years and in my opinion its the best place to get Chinese food around..would highly recommend..Kid-friendliness: Waiters were awesome..took our order and didn't even need to write it down and got everything we asked for.

I live for Chinese food, trying it all over the US, and while I live in Indianapolis, Gumbo is the standard I measure by. Their boneless spare ribs are unsauced and carmelized, making them the best anywhere. Their service and food are second to none. I make time to visit *every* time I’m out this way.
