“Eating at Jim's is like living the good old days again. I've never once left unsatisfied or unfulfilled. The charm is quintessentially New England. This is a timeless establishment that will never be out of style - will never not be cool. Feels like home. From the good natured local patrons to the respectable hardworking staff - Jim's has it all. I will continue to come back and recommend it to anyone I know.“
“Truly a neighborhood gem. I've lived around P&K for many years and I don't know why it've taken me so long to sing their praise. Perhaps I am being selfish and want the subs all for myself! =D For $12 bucks you've got a substantive, full-loaded sub and make one or two delicious meals out of it. While you wait, kibitz with your friendly neighbors, get a scratch-off, some chips, some sweets and a coffee. You will be not be disappointed.“
“So glad we went here. Well rated for a reason.Fast, hot, delicious food and the price is right. Service is warm and authentic.Come here for breakfast if you want something filling and tasty. Thanks so much. Knocked it OUTTA THE PARK!Recommend the pastrami hash sub if you're super hungry.“
“A hidden ?,In Boston.Eastie.Nicky, is very compassionate & goes above and beyond for his customers. One of the best Italian subs in Boston, He will even separate the vegetables oil So that way the subs don't get soggy upon request and will not hesitate to accommodate his customers. Please put Carmella's on your go to ✔️ list.“
“These folks make some unbelievable handmade sandwiches and you will love everything on the menu. The ingredients are fresh and the service is remarkably fast. There's usually a line but it moves quickly and you can order online to skip the line if you're in a rush. Most customers take-out, and there's a small dine-in counter. Finally, there's plenty of parking.“
“Our first visit was today. We have been to many deli's in New York, Boston etc and this one excels them in quality and certainly friendliness. Owner is an executive chef and has learned all the traditional ways of Jewish cooking. Everything we had was fantastic, even the Cole slaw. We had potato pancakes, knishes, egg salad 1/2 sandwich (Quite large) and a beef brisket 1/2 sandwich so full I could barely finish it. Tomato bisque soup was also exceptional. This place is cozy and comfortable with a convenient parking lot out front. We highly recommend you visit this place if you want great Jewish style deli food. We will be returning soon. We loved our waitress Betsy, who is very sweet, pleasant, friendly, and helpful in explaining the menu and bringing takeout items for us to see before we ordered our takeout food as well. We are eagerly looking forward to our next visit.“
“Had a burger plate with fries and rings; delicious for a good price! No frills - it's a hole in the wall place - but good food made fresh to order with great service. The style that reminds me of some of the great small town burger joints I've had over the years - not the gastropubs and brewery/restaurants that seem to be way more common in Metro Boston. Bravo!“
“I moved to the area about six months ago and Meridian has been my go-to lunch place - I cannot recommend it enough. The food is incredible (especially the chicken caesar, Meridian special, meatballs and chicken limon) but literally everything I’ve tried is incredible. Very homey inside as well!“
“Very well located and excellent establishment!!! Pastries, homemade food, burgers, everything is delicious, you can get a taste of Brazil and satisfy your nostalgia a little. Don't waste time or have any doubts, this is the right place to remember our origins.“
“Went here after checking in at our hotel, mainly stopped by because it was close by and we were starving. Didn't expect to walk in to an authentic grocery store and sub place. Tried the sub with chicken, coleslaw, tomatoes, can't remember what else was on it. Solid 8/10, good sub and huge portions def recommend for seaport area sandwiches! Also had seating in the back.“
“Lovely store, with many Polish and European people, never ending good food, quite a selection of deli meats and cheese, and the vibe of the shop is nice. Stop in if in the region. The parking is horrible, but I will not lower the rating as it is not a option the owner can even change.Parking: Limited parking (roadside) on the street, in front of the store. Usually crowded and filled.“
“Great locally owned spot for breakfast. The food was fast and fresh! And a great value! I had the 3 cheese omelet with breakfast potatoes, they were skin-on reds! My young daughter (9) had the English muffin egg and bacon —she wholeheartedly agreed. Beats the socks off the chain places nearby with preprepped frozen foods being made by people who don’t care.“
“Huge, delicious sandwiches piled high with perfectly sliced Boar's Head meats. Quick, friendly staff and tons of parking. If you're a sandwich fan and can make it to the Canton-Stougton line before closing time, you should try A Cut Above.“
“I've been working on Wood rd for a few months and have been going to Wood Road Deli every day for lunch. Ive tried the whole menu and haven't been disappointed once. The chicken salad is the best I've ever had. The staff is very friendly. 5/5 I will be continuing to eat there every day.“
“Simple, consistent, and delicious food. The pricing is fair for how much, and quality of food received. Compared to other business around the area: this small business is a gem worth the money, value and time.Very little wait time: the individuals working behind the counter were competent, welcoming, and friendly. The store atmosphere is very early 2000s, so if that’s your thing: you’ll find no trouble. If you’re looking for a quick bite or some food with friends, this is top 5 option in the area.“
“The Parma is the most amazing sandwich..I tell them a little extra on the olive oil. The Italian is very good as well. And they have a nice selection of affordable good wine. And if you notice all the girls there are absolutely beautiful.“
“The chicken salad is the best chicken salad in the world. I don't think it can be replicated at home. The guys will make a sub or you can buy a tub of the chicken salad and take it home to make sandwiches. Buffalo chicken salad is also too notch. They have good chip selection. Very friendly service. No frills.“
“Ate here on vacation twice and the family loved it. Breakfast was great- I had the breakfast sandwich and the kids had pancakes. Lunch had many unexpected items. I had the musaka, which I had no idea what it was, but it was amazing. The guys working the counter bantered and were a ton of fun.“
“My opinion is 9.6/10. Came here because of man vs food did the 2 lbs burger. This place till this day has the juiciest burger meat I ever had was literally dripping down my arm, but not only juicy flavorful and highly enjoyable. I don't like Boston, as a NYer but this place is the only reason I would ever go back. Check out my in depth video reviews on any of the platforms below. “I ordered 3 trays of food from Salem Food Market the day before a family luncheon, the antipasto salad, the stuffed shells, and the chicken parm. I asked to pick up at 11:30 and the food was ready early, my extended family (all Italian heritage and great Italian cooks in their own right) raved about the food. The shells were perfectly cooked, the cheese fluffy and light, the chicken flavorful, the bread tasty and airy. Our meal was so satisfying. I also got dessert which was delectable—chocolate caramel cake, blackberry cheesecake and carrot cake. More raves from a family of foodies! Get yourself to Salem Food Market today!!“
