The selection of Valentine's treats is really wonderful. From the macarons to the heart-shaped, raspberry-filled gems to the pretty pink cakes - hard to choose. Thanks to the lovely people behind the counter who always take great care in packaging my treats and greeting me with a smile.

La Luce has a variety of crepe desserts made to order, the berries and Nutella is my go-to. They also have savory croissants (ham and cheese) which are always hard to find in this area. Grateful for La Luce and their wide variety of yums!

I order a Nutella and fruits crepe and honestly it didn't taste good at all. I don't usually criticize food because I love everything but this crepe really tasted bad. The fruits tasted like they were about to go rotten. The dough of the crepe tasted salty. It was supposed to be sweet but even the Nutella didn't help it. It tasted sour. It was really disappointing.

Horrible customer service. Yesterday we purchased some cookies, and the older lady working was very rude. Didn’t greet me and was very rude. Im sorry but customer service is everything for me. Giving 2 stars only cause the cookies were okay, otherwise zero!

Ive been several times before but today was first time in a couple years. Not much has changed, grumpy help and average pastry. Cannoli shells shouldn't be soft. Pistachio cake was stale, not sure id go back unless Im getting a muffin or croissant as they are usually fresh.

The lady behind the counter was nice. We bought m and m cookies, cheesecake, and two gingerbread men for the kids. Honestly, we got in the car and tried the cookies and both said “do they even try these?!?!” They were laughably horrible- dry flavorless and bad texture. Cheesecake was also leathery. I think the best part was our 5 and 8 year olds wouldn’t even finish their cookies.Like if a kid won’t eat sweets that should really tell you something. Wanted to like it here, but it was just laughably bad unfortunately.

2022 visitI purposely returned to La Luce this time because Thomas S. yelped that he had the best strawberry shortcake of his life here.I gazed over the pastries presented in the glass counter as the girl finished serving the patron ahead of me, and then later paused in my conversation with her about prices and what's popular here, to offer the fellow standing by to please go ahead and order if he already knew what he wanted. Each pastry was nearly labeled with what it was in a clear simple font, but for prices, you got to ask.Generally slices of cake are $5, croissants $4, cookies $0.75. I think she said cupcakes were $3 something, but I'm not sure.I was nearly done with my order when the man in the back half of the counter called her over to give him a hand. He seemed surprised that I still needed her, but I had one last pastry for her to box and still had to pay.She was fine, but he didn't add to the pleasure of my visit. As for the goods -Almond croissant $4 - was a little past golden this baking, but it was filled with an almond paste that had grown creamy melty in the summer heat.Strawberry shortcake for one $5 - not too sweet, light and creamy. It reminded me of whoopee pie in form and the strawberry half on top was a little sad.Almond cookie $0.75 - a crisp crumbly cookie full of almond flavor. I surprisingly enjoyed it quite a lot since I normally prefer chewy or gooey cookies.Everything was good, and up for repeat.

The pasties and crepes are fine but... wow, the staff here is unbelievably miserable. I feel like I've offended them every time I walk in; like I'm an unwelcome guest crashing their party. I don't know why, but I gave them another chance today. I was with my excited 5-year-old son today, who was smiling ear-to-ear in anticipation of a cupcake. The woman behind the counter stared coldly at us, said nothing when we ordered, and was visibly annoyed with me throughout the transaction. Why choose to operate a customer-facing business when you seem to be contemptful of customers? Totally weird.

Lots of yummy desserts are at La Luce Pastry Shop The Pastry shop offers a lot if variety from cakes, muffins, crossaints, and cookies. You pick your sweet indulgement. The customer service was really nice here too.I really enjoyed their chocolate mouse cake and apple turnovers . The cake was moist and rich. The turnovers had a great flaky crest. Everything tasted really fresh. The only thing I didn't really like was apple twists. They were too crunchy for my taste buds.
