My 3 year old’s favorite donut spot was closed last weekend, so we thought we’d try something new. I am so glad we did! The Underground Bakery is so charming, and the service was warm and friendly. We chose a huge selection of treats, including homemade dog biscuits. ? The croissants were amazing, but my daughter loved the rainbow cookie best. The Frenchies were also delicious! We will be headed back this weekend to try the donuts (I was told they sell out early). What a cute little spot! We will be back again and again. ☕️❤️ Kid-friendliness: The owner was so sweet and made my daughter feel very special. ?

Very disappointed with the customer service here. We came in to get a few items and drinks, and the cashier allowed a bottleneck from a group of four to cause a delay in service to others. On top of that, a barista who came to help decided to to serve a customer that was in line behind us (a regular by their conversation).And to make matters worse, they gave us the wrong items.It's disappointing that this small business did so poorly today. The food was not what we wanted, and we already left when we noticed it. It didn't taste good, but that could be attributed to them grabbing the wrong items. Nevertheless, I would not recommend this place to my friends, and I would not go back.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible due to stairs leading down and no signs of a ramp

I am so glad we hired Laurie from the Underground Bakery to cater desserts for our wedding day! Not only were our cake and cupcakes delicious, but her customer service was top-notch, and her prices are reasonable. After exchanging a few emails about what we wanted, Laurie executed flawlessly with no follow-up! She even reached out to me the week ahead to assure me that everything was all set (we dealt with a hurricane and Laurie was prepared AND flexible!). The professionalism here was much appreciated. And, our family could not stop raving about the cupcakes! They were so moist, and even retained their quality for enjoyment over the days after our celebration. Thank you so much Laurie!!I also stopped in here quite a bit this summer for breakfast and coffee and everything is fantastic! Fresh & high-quality.

Food was great and the service was excellent. They have free stickers and cookies to die for. If you have a chance I highly recommend heading down the stairs and checking this place out.

Oh my the owner is not well. (Or the angry woman with the blonde on top die job) She's been so miserable and angry to customers for years not to mention treats her staff so awfully and yells at them in front of customers but this time was over the top. There was a small line for Labor Day and we could tell she was getting flustered. One customer asked for an iced coffee- she gave the wrong order, one asked for sugar, then I asked for milk because they don't put any cream out. I asked for cream, she aggressively said "we don't leave it out" then I looked at her and next thing I know she's coming at me over the counter aggressively saying "what! What do you have to say! Do you have a problem?!" It was pretty shocking to be spoken to that way. I thought she was going to jump over the counter and come at me lol. WILD! Somethings off... If you want to start your morning out with a shitty cup of coffee and dry pastry with a side of verbal abuse this is the coffee shop for you!
