I visit this special restaurant from time to time because I love the ambiance that is unique to this place. The personel is highly loyal and skilfull. The service is certainly rapid. Not to mention, the food they cook is perfect. I have been there many times and I was always joyful. The expense is modest. I highly suggest this place to my friends and family.

Mac and cheese was bland. No type of flavor at all. I think common sides should be included in the meal though. There's no reason or excuse I just paid $20 for a meal for 1 person; especially from a West Indian restaurant

Only commenting on the food since this is a Uber Eats spot for me. Really solid curry chicken plate with good portion and taste. J*** chicken is ok. Curry goat was ok. You won't be mad eating this food.... If they actually have what you want today.

After a very disappointing experience at Irie Jamaican Style Restaurant, I was hopeful this place would be much better, and that I didn't catastrophically misunderstand Jamaican cuisine. Thankfully, the food here was much better and had those flavor explosions that were missing from Irie. I ordered the J*** Chicken lunch special, and had my meal delivered with Postmates, so I could not try it hot from the kitchen to the plate. Though thankfully when the item was delivered it was of a great temperature. The rice was solid for sure! It was cooked perfectly, and seasoned nicely. The real star of the plate was the j*** chicken though. When I tell you this was an explosion of flavor I don't exaggerate. There was plenty of savoriness, some saltiness, a little bit of sweetness, and of course spiciness. Just in case I should say I have a high heat tolerance, but I did not find the heat overwhelming by any means, and did not have me running like a madman to the water fountain. The chicken itself was tender and cooked well, and the oil level was on point! I do have a couple suggestions for improvement, and it is these which cost is placed the coveted fifth star. First, I found that the chicken was mostly of off cartilage. This is tough to work with when you're in the office and I only have plastic utensils. As such, I have to give a point here to Irie, as their meat slid right off the bone, this place it did not (at least not this order). Second, it would have been extremely nice to have something fresh, even as simple as a simple side salad to balance out the chicken and the rice. The real test of any restaurant is not just whether I would be open to returning, but rather whether I would recommend this place to someone else, or better yet, take a friend here f Since the answer in the case of J*** is yes, what that down as a win in my book.

I'm really sad to post this, but I've purchased food from this place several times to come to the conclusion that they fell off on the quality. When I first ordered in 2016, the food was so amazing! I used to order two meals just to have for the week. The last couple of meals of recent were underwhelming. But today will be my last time trying. I ordered a Salmon Dinner with white rice and collard greens. Rice was undercooked and crunchy. Collard greens were undercooked and no flavor. Salmon was ok but a tiny piece. Rice was pretty much the main dish. I was so dissapointed. I ended up throwing away everything but the piece of salmon.
