Found this place and was SO grateful we did. Had lunch there. The police were there as customers.❤this! Reminds us a lot of Haiti and Puerto Rican food. So delicious, HUGE portions, and no lines.
Villa Sombrero Cafe is a small neighborhood cafe that just opened on a corner next to Project Hope, if you know where that is on Dudley Street. It's got enough room to be comfy in, two tables set up for dining in, although I've never seen anyone eating in. Seems everyone gets their food to go. The people behind the counter don't speak much English at all, so there's lots of smiling going on when trying to communicate.
