“This place had been on my list for a while now and we ended up going last minute when our first plans fell through. Everything about our experience was positive. We sat at the bar and the service, the steaks, and the drinks were all well above usual quality for a post-Covid world restaurant. We had the monfonguito appetizer, t-bone steak and filet mignon, mango habenero margaritas and lava cake for dessert. Wouldn't change a thing. We are glad that our first plans fell through and will certainly be back.“
“Food is excellent. I never expect much from a place that's part of a chain but this was a nice surprise. We like the new paella. Friendly and enthusiastic staff. “Name says it all, their chicken is their specialty but I decided to special order their “fish soup” and it was so delicious! Flavored but not salty, enough vegetables to not overwhelm and fish was super tasty. I ordered take out and glad I did because at 8:30p on a Friday night it was packed. Some might say music is loud I loved it even just walking in.“
“Had dinner next door and went in for dessert. Amazing pastry, friendly staff. Eddie was on the counter, Juan in back. I'm told Manny owns the bakery. Got a guava scone...I think it was a scone, thin flaky layers, honey on top, reminded me of baklava. Eddie gave me a free taste test of home made passion fruit juice, wicked good. Bought two loaves of fresh bread, has a coarse grain look, I thought it would be like Russian but it's like cake. Great local business. They try hard and it shows....good prices. Awesome“
“I LOVE THE FOOD HERE ESPECIALLY THE MOFONGO!!! 10/10. Food takes 30min to 1 hour to make and it’s worth the wait!! cooks seem to put love on the food. Too much complains about the waiting time then maybe you should go to McDonald’s or cook at home.“
“I never comment or post about a restaurant, however since eating here I cannot stop thinking about it. Friendly staff, amazing drinks, and live music that was good and not so loud you couldn’t hear the staff or other members in your party speaking. The jerk chicken alone is enough of a reason to visit this place. I highly recommend Sahel to anyone, even if it’s just for drinks and an appetizer.“
