I only went out with friends because they begged and begged. I'm not into the bar hopping thing. This place was okay. Somewhat small, towards the end, it was crowded, so I'm guessing that means it is popular.

Quaint little neighborhood bar. Typical bar menu, with some surprising wonderful specials. Great bartenders . I give 4.5 but google does not give.

Same as someone else said, if your not a regular, be prepared to be ignored. Nothing like going into a dive for the first time and getting ignored for 20 min. Don't sit at a table, its too far for the lazy bartender. Sit at the bar if you want service. She shouted out to our table, what do you want. I had to get up and walk over to her and order because it was too loud, and I am not lazy or ignorant. I hate to lean over someone at the bar to order drinks, its rude. Hence sit at a table. And don't call it an Irish bar!, Take that name down and all and everything that is Irish. Any bartender that pours a Guinness in a 12 oz Coors light glass, a straight pour, should be working somewhere else. And the excuse that I got after walking up for a second round was " I'm not Irish, so..." 1 Bad pour, shame on you, 2 bad pours shame on me for asking! Wow,! Thank god I didn't order a mixed drink, who knows if she even knows how to make one. And no Irish food at all. Menu looks like a frozen menu. Just call it a Bud Light bar. We didn't even attempt to order food, because she never came over and asked us what we wanted and we were there for an hr. And what a filthy place. I didn't even attempt to go into the bathroom,.To the owner, I know finding good help is tough, but she is only hurting the business. My wife and I go out to eat all the time and we were hoping for a new local place to visit. Not now! We will try out the place across the st. next.Or Paddy's, Or Owen and Ollies,(both places know how to POUR) or a number other local places.

Nothing like walking into a place for the first time and being ignored. Unfriendly bar tender and atmosphere. Walk in and figure it out. Seems like if your not in the circle or a regular they don’t care for your business.

We absolutely LOVE O'Hara's! We just started going last fall and have made it our "go to" place every Thursday for lunch. The food is FABULOUS, the bartender is OUTSTANDING-and is the reason we go weekly! The only concern we have is that one or two of the "regular" patrons have extremely offensive personal hygiene habits. So much so, that you can clearly see that nobody wants to sit on the same side of the bar. This is all on a particular day. We have had the misfortune of sitting near this patron and have left sooner than later due to the odor. I'm not sure who's job it is to tell this patron to clean up or leave, but it's very offensive and other patrons agree. Other than this, O'Hara's is the place to be when Shannon and/or Christina are working the bar and Jerry is cooking in the kitchen!
