Had an outstanding meal here back in November - our family live locally and insisted we visit, and I’m so glad they did! Everything from the oyster menu was super fresh and a great way to appreciate the variations between different varieties. Service was friendly, cocktails were delicious, and the Windsor Fries (cooked in tallow and served with a delicious garlic mayo) are genuinely the best fries I have ever eaten. Can’t wait to go back!

Had a lovely weekend brunch here. The tallow French fries were delicious, burger is amazing, and of course fresh oysters. All the staff were lovely and really made our meal perfect. Had great recommendations and suggestions for us. Would love to go back for dinner.

Amazing late 1800's building. Decor was rustic and the food and cocktails were very good. We had brunch and their oysters were fantastic and shucked to perfection. Sercice was great and the bar was great. A must visit, and be sure to visit Island Creek raw bar as well right near by. You will not be disappointed.

Good food and drinks but way overpriced for what you get ($15 for a small piece of charred cauliflower, $38 for a tiny piece of sea bass, the list goes on) and then to surreptitiously add 8% to your bill total for “back of house” is ridiculous.

Came for the weekend brunch and was impressed with the food but found the service to be mediocre,we had two servers One was very friendly and welcoming but the other server wasn't all that interested,it was nearing the end of the brunch shift so maybe that had something to do with it. Owned by the folks at island creek oysters it's located right across the street in a storied old inn that was warm and inviting. Of course we started with a selection of local oysters,perfect... onto the smash burger on a English muffin with cheese and a "big Mac"style sauce it was the perfect brunch bite with fries and garlic mayo. Also had the New England breakfast of two eggs, crunchy delicious potato rosti and bacon with grilled sourdough bread. Price point was decent. Will be back to try dinner in the warmer months.

A gorgeous place that offers both a historic and a contemporary setting. The food is fab - we had the oyster po-boy and the burger. Friendly servers too. Will return soon!

Fantastic brunch. The eggs Benedict with crab meat was delicious. The bloody Maria's also great and not too spicy, just right! Our server was attentive and kind. He also brought my friend an espresso tequila for her birthday with a candle. We enjoyed it very much!

An amazing historical house converted to a restaurant that has amazing oysters and delicious food options. We had the burger and 3 dozen oysters and it's work every bit of the time there. Our table was adjacent to the bar and was centered to the main dining area. The atmosphere was rustic and the sound was just right. Our server was tenacious and kept asking us to order while we were enjoying our oysters and brews.

This is my favorite spot. My son and I frequent Winsor House for brunch and look forward to each time we go. We have our favorites on the menu, the staff is always warm, knowledgeable, and kind. On this recent visit, I took two of my girlfriends for brunch and it was so fun, relaxing, and delicious! We'll be back soon because we love you Winsor House!

Way too much money for almost zero selection (valentine's day), this might be the lowest value meal I have ever had. Service was OK but not particularly pleasant and our table wobbled (server knew but forgot).

We used to come here about once a week and then we got tired of the menu. Returned tonight and wasn't impressed. The food was overpriced and lacked flavor. Could not believe they tack on 8% to the check “service charge ”. Just pay the workers what they're worth and we'll pay for our meal! We won't be returning mainly because the food was not worth the price and there are so many other great restaurants that know how to make great food!

Winsor House has been through many hands over my time in Duxbury. This place’s food used to be a lot better when Island Creek first bought it. Dont get me wrong, raw bar is excellent. I don’t drink but the mock-tails are on point. I had the spicy pineapple marg and it was quite good. However the food is sub par. My mom had the striped bass and it was a piece of fish with some greens thrown on top and one grape cut in half placed on the plate. Definitely lacking.I started with the smoked pork belly clam chowder and it had mussels in it, in the shells… I had to pick thru the chowder and find the clams and the shells were in it. I had to pick the mussels out of the shells and they were covered in chowder so my fingers got all gross. Bad look. Just shell them and throw them in, I don’t want to have to shell clams in a chowderMy cioppino was ok. I’m fine with picking shells in that because they weren’t covered in soup. The crusty bread and sauce was decent but the rest of the dish left something to be desired. The shrimp were overcooked and for showcasing lobster and coating nearly $50 a small claw and less than half a tail isn’t much for what you get. They try to make up for it with shrimp but they weren’t good. The waiter was nice and it was a bday celebration so even though we said we couldn’t eat dessert they still came out with a piece of cake and candle for us and comped that which was nice

Menu somewhat limited, a little nervous at first when perusing it, but everything we ate was absolutely delicious + fabulous presentation. Service was excellent- our server was knowledgeable, nice, present without being overbearing. It was a Sat night (6:30 reservation), and place was full of a surprising number of small kids, a lot of big, noisy group tables, so I'd go a bit later, if you're looking for a quieter vibe, but ambience was really cozy and lovely, fires in the fireplaces, etc. A bit pricey (esp wine menu), but again, felt worth it—great seafood. The oysters, omg! So good.
