Service and atmosphere is nice and friendly. Chocolate chip cookie looks like nothing special but was unexpectedly amazing.

I had to leave the country to kick my addiction to Matt’s Caesar salad.

love this place, their mushroom cheddar scone is one of the best things i’ve ever eaten. also absolutely love the option of purchasing a day old scone or other pastry, amazing way to help with waste and save a couple bucks. I ask them to warm it up and it’s just like new. my only criticism is that i wish they left the simple syrup out for customers to add themselves. great place to work as well, with free wifi and a 2h time limit

Decided to stop in while visiting & first I had asked someone if they could tell me what a specific pastry was since they were no photos on the kiosk & he told me to just go back to the kiosk which wasn’t helpful. Then I heard the employees talking in Spanish about my order, how it was crazy that I was spending MY money on a latte. I understand Spanish fluently. I found it kind of rude of them to be talking about me in front of me.

They say they open at 6am so I came across the city for coffe and breakfast. The lights were off until around 6:10 (no big deal) but then the lady kept the door locked and left me standing outside in the cold while she got the place up and running. After she ignored me for a few more minutes I left.

This cafe has a wonderful set up by the metro and has been a great little landing place after a long red eye into town. Something to note if you come at opening they only take debit or credit cards. Staff this early were not overtly friendly but when I had questions about the ordering service they were polite in answering my questions. Breakfast sandwich was delicious and my vanilla bean latte was yummy. I dined in and worked a bit with breakfast and the only questionable part was my hot latte was put in a glass container that I would normally use for cold drinks. I had to find napkins to protect my hands moving it from the serving counter to where I set up my laptop. But after letting the drink cool some I could drink it without needing the napkins.

Quality of sandwiches are good as far as ingredients, and portions are better than they used to be. Good coffee, however it usually seems like it hasn't been brewed in over 30 minutes and it's not very hot.The prices are a little higher but I guess it's in line with the location & products used. I personally think the service fee isn't necessary, and a price increase would make more sense and be more transparent - it's not service you're paying for, it's operations costs and wages - just say "all of our prices include a fee to pay for operations and wages?"Lastly, the only reason to drag it down is that the service is almost always awful unless you go when you're the only customer. Be prepared to wait about 10-15 minutes for any food if you order, or just order far in advance. Once the order is ready and it includes a beverage, they always hold your beverage until the food is ready - that needs to be fixed! My coffee is getting cold while the food is coming out? That's so silly lol.

My favorite place to get work done and love their lattes with seasonal flavors. All syrups are house made and they have a yummy house made eggplant bacon.

Go for: Great food and one of the only high-end coffee options in East Boston.Avoid if: You're feeling impatient, or are seeking breakfast on a budget.Something surprising: While the decor is quirky and cool, the layout is weird and the order pickup area is also the trash area and the service station and the exit, all rolled into one.Reservation needed? No.Overall . The coffee and food are tasty and they bring in pastries from one of the best bakeries in the Boston area. However, the food is truly overpriced and the staff always seems like they've just emerged from a behind-closed-doors argument, because they're almost never in a good mood/are rarely friendly. We're never greeted with a 'Hello' or 'How are you?' - walking in to pick up an online order normally involves a wait for 3+ minutes before someone walks over and only says "What'd you order?" Orders are almost never ready in a timely manner, which is crucial for people on their way to work. They're pricing to pay the rent for their prime location next to the Maverick T and in a new luxury apartment building.Value for Price: 1Sanitation: 3Food Quality: 4Menu Precision: 3Service Quality: 2Timing: 1Decor: 3Access: 4—5 among the best4 strong3 not too bad2 mediocre1 never again

Good Coffee north of the city is hard to find. This place makes a good cup.Got a lavender honey latte with Oat.____The disorganization however was a real kick to the neuroeces. The space seems under utilized how it is set up and its hard not to feel in the way of bussers that have to operate and weave in and out of customers. So coffee is great, homemade syrups, coolio...just if you have a need for personal space sit outside if you can,
