“Just dined at 908Bistro for the first time tonight. So happy we tried it. Our waitress Jess was very friendly. Food was wonderful. I had the blackened steak top with Alfredo special. Steak tips were very tender. My husband had the seared tuna and sad it was great too. Will definitely be returning.“

“Our group of 4 visited the Scargo Cafe as newcomers, and the experience was even better than we had heard! First off, the Cape in early-March is practically shutdown for the winter, so finding an open restaurant is a challenge in itself. But not only was Scargo Cafe open, it was a quite filled with customers. Nonetheless, the service was prompt, friendly and experienced. Drinks orders were taken within a couple minutes and delivered soon thereafter (nice selection of wines and draft beers!). The menu had a wide diversity of choices, quite impressive. We ordered the special beef stir fry, grilled swordfish with rice/asparagus, and shrimp asian salad (w/ almonds+cranberries). Topped off by grape-nut custard (a house specialty). Everything was excellent and filling. Will certainly return when back to the Cape.“

“In April, we attended a wine dinner at the Pheasant with Patrick Cappiello,winemaker, of Monte Rio Cellars who presented his wines along side Executive Chef Andrew Reilly's most delectable dishes. The plentiful platters are served family style.The former owners, Bill and Denise Atwood, found the perfect young couple to hand their beloved restaurant to. “Went there for a late lunch today. I had the steak tips w/ baked mac and cheese. Girlfriend had the sliders. Food was great nothing was disappointing, parking was a little tough but for those that dont know there is parking across the street.“

“We’d just arrived in Dennis Port after a grueling 12 hr ride from Northern VA. It was 4 hrs longer than expected. AND Captain Parker’s helped melt the stress away. I had their traditional fish and chips and my friends had the ‘chowda’. Both were delicious. The place was hopping with laughter, eating and drinking. I looked around and every table had different dishes AND everyone seemed to be loving their choices. The waiter was the best. He and the other wait staff gave us recommendations for places to eat while we were on the Cape. He was so personable and attentive. It was a great start to our vacation!“

“A casual seafood shack and the food is exceptional: my favorite kind of places on the Cape. My mom was about to arrive on The Cape and we had had a long day so we decided to order takeout to have at the house so she could unload, unpack and we could all unwind. My brother found Cobie’s when he was looking places up, he ordered about 20min before my mom’s arrival time, they said it would be ready in 15 and it was. It was hot and fresh and since it was just down the road it stayed that way. Everything was tasty, tender and perfectly cooked. Wish I had gone to eat there again before leaving The Cape“

Just thinking about great seafood is enough to make you drool. Get your taste buds ready! Its a casual environment inside and out and located near the Hyannis Docks and the Hy-Line Cruise Ferry.Too many great memorable moments here and more to come."Fruitt Di Mare" or "New England Steamers" or a Spanky's "Grilled Marinated Swordfish on Caesar Salad" attached photos, they are as good as they look !Spanky's has just about anything that's on your mind.... Fried Clams, Lobster, and the works! Even the kiddos will love it....Spanky's has a small private parking lot immediately to left of "their" building, it holds about 6-7 parking spots, a tight squeeze, they also have a "Take Out" front door for orders to go with 5-6 parking spots in the front of the building if your car can hop the curb. There's plenty of additional parking in the metered public parking lot right next door abutting their address to park and enjoy Spankys in the Dining room or Bar.No matter where you are coming from, Spanky's should be on your agenda and a place to remember. “This place is a gem, in a small town. Came here 4-28-2024 on a New England Coach Bus Tour. They treated us very well. The food was Out-Of-This-World perfect. The Baked Haddock was in a very light lemon-buttery sauce. Superb, as the rice & green beans were too... The salad comes with a dressing & I asked for a dry plain salad & they got me 1 in less than a minute. The Apple Crisp was delicious, so good, they brought me a 2nd.“

“Service was excellent. Table for 4 in quiet nook of main dining area. Excellent drinks. Duck confit appetizer with pecan/pear/beet salad made an excellent dinner. Cod entree and gourmet meatloaf plus squash soup were also enjoyed. Warm pecan tart with ice cream and chocolate bread pudding were outstanding. A wonderful experience!!“

“This restaurant has one of the best owners I’ve ever met in any business on Cape Cod. My wife ate here recently with our kids and her brother. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was great. My wife lost her wallet and she believed it was here. The owner helped me try to find it after I got out of work. We went through everything trying to find this. He also checked the cameras upon request and Was very helpful which lead to us finding it at the location beforehand.I highly recommend this place.“

“I love this place. It's amazing. It's one of the few good values left on the cape. The ownership runs a tight ship. The views at sunset are unmatched. Bring your favorite bottle of wine and share a table with someone new. The food comes out hot and quick. The line to get your order in is as much a control on kitchen flow. They have amazing team, tip the kitchen crew a few bucks. They do a great job and are one of the best seasonal stops in the mid-cape.“

“The busy places had a ridiculous wait time. So we drove to this place. The decor isnt welcoming, its more of a sports bar than family dining. Food was pleasantly surprising. Hostess was friendly. “Being in a small plaza, this place was a pleasant surprise with a cozy colonial atmosphere. We were seated by a window that had a beautiful view.The menu had some great offerings. Inhad the Turkey Stuffing melt with Mac & Cheese. It was excellent, some of the best turkey I've had eating out.My husband had the Cape Cod Rueben, which was filling for him and tasted great.The service was great, I was surprised by how fast our.food came out after ordering.Over all, we both agreed it was a great choice on our day trip.“

“Went to Moonfish last week for the first time with a group of friends. Beautiful decor, nice vibe. We all LOVED our meals! Rhonda, our server, was so great. Efficient, personable and fun!!! Great menu; this place has something for everyone! Prices are reasonable; generous portions. Our only negative was the loud music (not live) coming from the bar. We were in an adjacent dining room and the volume was too much!! Can't imagine sitting in the bar area and trying to have a conversation with someone. I will definitely be back to Moonfish. Wonderful addition to the area!!“

“Went to the Dolphin Restaurant on 02/12/22. Had 6:30 reservations and was told they still haven't seated all of the 6:00 reservetions yet. The place was packed, you could hardly move. The wait staff that wasn't wearing masks,were having a hard time getting to the tables to serve. Good thing the fire dept. didn't come in, as I am sure they were way over capacity. So we waited close to an hour and were asked if we would consider sitting at a high top, we agreed. So after waiting another 15 -20 minutes for the bartender to take our order. He brought our drinks, I said "we are ready to order" The bartender said I'll be right back. He proceeded to go help bring in the equipment for the band who were setting up 8 - 10 feet accross from our table. At this point I flaged him down asked him how much for the drinks and left. I have celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, Valentines Day at the Dolphin for years. I will never return! They pissed a lot of people off for their way over booking. We just weren't smart enough to leave at the begining like a lot of people did. I have never seen a business with so little reguard for their customers.“

I can’t say that I loved the food but it was good enough.I did like the chocolate desert.Oh and I do have to say that they have an extensive selection of whisky and (amazingly) gin. “The food is not as good as we are use to having from Barbyann's. The only dish out of 4 people. That was good was my cheese burger and fries. Also no one in my party had any seafood. Those could be ok. Good luck , It was very good to see a couple of friendly staff that still work there. We have been going here ever since they opened. I'm not sure if this was a one time bad night. I also don't think I can get my wife to go back and find out. Because she wants to remember Barbyann's as it was before they changed the menu. There are too many dishes that they took off the menu and no longer have. Some of the dishes they kept are not the same anymore. Even the desserts are not made the way they use to be. I mean the whole reason to go here was for the food and the friendly staff we saw all the time. Change is hard but we are not sure they made the right choices.“

“Came in for a quick breakfast stop, and boy did I get quick service! I got the 2 eggs (doubled it to 4) with bacon and hash with the toast with an orange juice, and it was done in minutes! I was in and out in about 15 mins. Great servers, and good food! :)“

“It is hard to differentiate yourself as a breakfast place, but my measure is the corned beef hash. I have it whenever I try a new breakfast place. The Wee Packet has the best I have ever had - anywhere. Pure natural flavor, not overstuffed with potatoes, not too salty, not too mushy. And they serve so much of it that it is never old or stale. I will make a special trip to the Cape just to have breakfast here and I am 2 hours away. 10 out of 10.“

“We’ve lived on the Cape for almost forty years, and this is our favorite seafood restaurant! The seafood is fresh and not greasy, portions are good, owners are friendly, and the atmosphere is “Cape Cod”. “Highly recommend coming here if you are ever in the area! My boyfriend and I had taken a trip for the weekend with our 8 month old puppy, and after reading several reviews on how dog friendly they were, we decided to try them out. Although we went because we had an our puppy with us, we soon found out we would come back puppy or not because of how amazing the staff, food, and drinks are! Everyone was so kind and friendly, multiple waitstaff came over to say hi to our pup. They brought him water and even had a doggy menu just for him! We were lucky enough to have Stephanie taking care of us that night and I can not say enough good things about her! The drinks were amazing, food was delicious, and the place is super cute inside and outside. We had a great time and really enjoyed our food. It was a huge bonus for us that our pup also had a great time and was given so much attention. Huge thank you to Stephanie, Darrel, and Lani for making our night amazing and for such great service. Their lobster Mac n cheese is one of our favorites during the colder weather, along with their steak n cheese sub. When summer time hits give me their lobster rolls! We love that they have both traditional cold and hot lobster rolls to choose from. Their fish tacos are the best fish tacos around as well, as well as Tuna Poke Bowl. “This is what constitutes a “dive bar” on Cape Cod. It holds up and the decorations are interesting, especially the decoupaged vintage photos. Definitely not the quintessential dive bar one would look for, but this place holds their own in a tourist area where nothing is really impressive. It’s obviously a hangout for locals and open late with karaoke that attracts a young annoying crowd. As overpriced as all of Cape Cod and comfortable enough, but for sure catering to a young crowd“
