Stopped in with a group of friends for a few dozen Oysters and couple of bottles of wine. Sat at the back bar. Great oyster and wine selections. Fair priced. Attentive bartender. We had a nice evening.

It was all perfect! The lobster salad had lots of lobster, mixed in layers... not just placed on top! The Cowboy steak with Au Poive by recommendation of the waiter. One of our favorite places for a nice date.

The steak and shrimp were over cooked. For the high price they should have been cooked to perfection. The sides were delicious though. We got Brussels sprouts and creamed corn. The service was poor. We had to ask for refills for water and wine. The server never asked us how the food was. We sat in the bar area and the tables were very close together. Do not recommend this restaurant at all.

19 Raw is amazing. One of our favorite restaurants in all of Martha's Vineyard. Excellent food & excellent service. Repeat customers every year when we visit.

Met some friends here for drinks and apps then stayed for a light dinner. The atmosphere on the deck was dreamy - lush foliage, twinkling lights, looking out to the church tower above. They turned on the (very effective) heat lamps for us as the evening was cooling, since it was October. Our server, Lexie, was very attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. She explained the different varieties of oysters, and after we decided on which ones we wanted, had us guess which ones were which! Made the evening lots of fun! (Btw, we had the Signature and MV Spearpoint "Menemsha", which both melted in your mouth.) We stayed longer than planned and had a light dinner of salad and chowder which were both delicious! We even got to meet the owner which made the evening complete! 19 Raw is not to be missed when you are visiting Martha's Vineyard!

Great atmosphere. Upbeat but not over the top. A bit off the main downtown area but worth the walk. Service was timely even on a very busy night. Good cocktails. Put it on your Vineyard list!

Beautiful setting on an outdoor patio. Cozy tables set with flowers and candles. It was crowded with lots of happy dinners. The food was delicious and well presented. Portions were small and prices were high. Nice place to celebrate a special event!

Enjoyed an outdoor table on a beautiful autumn day, good drinks and a dozen oysters. On a side street but near the bus stop, friendly folks and a casual atmosphere. The Honeysuckle oysters were the best!

19 Raw restaurant goes into NEVER AGAIN category! Food poisoning, probably from the Clam Chowder that was loaded with old fried bacon. My second day staying at the house. Total disaster! Uncut Caesar Salad. They might as well bring the salad in a bucket. Our Lobster Tails were drenched in 2 inches of oil with something burnt to crisp on the bottom. I think it was potatoes but we could not tell, with all that oil. We just let is sit on the bottom. Strangely enough, they do not serve Coffee or Tea. It was just that simple - NO COFFEE or TEA!! The service person suggested to have a chocolate cake that we ordered for a 6-year old with 'one of their great cocktails'. When I pointed at the child, she came to her senses and said "Oh yes, I see" and offered more water.Bottom line, NEVER AGAIN. I will make a prediction, soon they will change the menu! Shortly after, the ownership will change. The location, after all, is not bad.

This restaurant was delicious! Had mostly appetizers and small plates. Our waitress was great and helped recommend oysters and dishes. The octopus was the best I've ever

Service and atmosphere 5 start but food 2 at best for the price. The oysters were great but everything else was just ok...we tried the mushroom soup (weird texture) salmon belly crudo (good), beef tartare (could have been chopped finer), octopus (overcooked) and foie gras (gritty...awful). For the prices we expected much better. Simon our waiter was a gem though ?

I almost left a terrible review but it was for another restaurant. This is prob my favorite spots on the island. The drinks are always great, the oysters yummy and I tried a new dish and drink this year. Amazing. Service was a bit slow. Not sure what that was about but I left happy.

The food is very good at 19Raw! We love to sit outside and people watch, while enjoying great cocktails and of course the food. Last time we just had a few snacks. The Tuna Poke and Salmon Crudo were excellent. And we split the Shrimp and Grits. Perfect for the two of us. And yes they split the dish without is even asking. Love that attention to details Service is always on point.

Obviously wanted some fresh oysters while staying in Edgartown so decided to give this place a shot based off reviews and pictures. We tried nearly 8 different local oysters and absolutely loved every single one. Some of the best I've ever had, especially with that kimchi sauce on top. We shared a Caesar salad and tuna tartare as well. The Caesar was really tasty, big enough the share. My only complaint was that you had to cut the lettuce to eat it but no big deal. For entrees, we got the halibut, salmon, and shared the creamed spinach and pork belly mac and cheese. Honestly... all incredible. This place is a must if you're in town and looking for amazing service and exceptional food. You'll spend a pretty penny but every last cent was so worth it!
