I wanted to like this place.Breakfast is my favorite meal and another choice on island was welcome. The place is cute, the counter staff very nice BUT it was three of the worst breakfast meals ever. The so called hash brown offering was an egg on top of 4 tasteless overcooked pieces of brown styrofoam with a drizzle of sour cream. Both of my guests meals and my meal were awful.I hope they get it together.

Thorns in the Experience: A Thorny Visit to Rosewater MarketMy recent visit to Rosewater Market left me with an overwhelmingly disappointing taste, far from the rosy experience one would expect. The cap logo boldly declaring "Eat Well, Be Kind" was a misleading facade, as my encounter with the service and staff manners fell painfully short of these aspirations.Upon entering Rosewater Market, the atmosphere seemed more prickly than inviting. The young girls manning the service counter appeared disinterested, and their lack of respect for customers was palpable. It was a stark contradiction to the establishment's claim of promoting kindness. The wait for service felt like an eternity, and when attention was finally garnered, the lack of manners was astounding. It is disheartening to witness such apathy, especially when the very ethos of the establishment encourages kindness and good service. As for the food, one would expect a market promoting the idea of "eating well" to deliver a satisfying culinary experience. However, the reality was quite the opposite – the dishes were disappointingly average, failing to live up to the promises made on the menu. Food was served on cardboard and to boot, no utensils were offered. What truly soured the experience was the evident gap between the advertised commitment to kindness and the actual behavior of the staff. The disregard for basic courtesy and customer service principles left me questioning the authenticity of Rosewater Market's values. In conclusion, my visit to Rosewater Market was far from the blooming experience I anticipated. Subpar service, uninspiring food, and a blatant disregard for the establishment's proclaimed values made this visit more thorny than rosy. "Eat Well, Be Kind" seems like a distant dream in the midst of the discourtesy I encountered at Rosewater Market.

100% recommend. Fun coffee shop, bakery, and market in MV. couldn't find anything like it in oak bluffs so made the quick trip here 2 days in a row for coffee and take away breakfast. The English muffin. I still dream of and wish I could have bought some to come home with. So good. Service was quick and friendly.

The gluten free scones were amazing! I can't ever find decent baked goods and this place offers more than one.

Best sandwich spot in Edgartown. Nice atmosphere and lots of seating. Don't miss the BLT. Counter service was a bit bland, but saved me the gratuity.

Giving 1 star for service... a shame because the food is 5 stars. Caught some serious attitude from one of the employees, for these prices I just would expect kindness at the minimum.

Four stars by vineyard standards, where there are lots of overpriced mediocre places. The coffee is some of the better coffee in Edgartown, the food is "pretty good" but varies dramatically day to day. Breakfast burrito was great one day, sloppy the next. The avocado toast was ice cold avocado on barely toasted bread, not good. Overall one of the better breakfast options, and has a great outdoor patio.

Quaint. Adorable. Trendy. The quintessential MV rolled into a quaint neighborhood setting. If this were my local cafe I would go there every day. So darned cute. But here’s what you need to know: The lattes were yummy, but come ready to fuel because there is no decaf. The English muffins are homemade, so don’t be wooed by the enormous burritos- you need to try the breakfast sandwich. If you read past the first offering on the all-day breakfast menu and you haven’t read HOMEMADE ENGLISH MUFFINS then you are doing it wrong. Full on egg and cheese muffin with a garden of fresh veggies and crisp salty bacon- It’s a no brainer. They are larger than you think! I miscalculated and we split a maple bacon scone in addition to the sandwich and overate with zero regrets. The scone was well-balanced without being too sweet. The crumb was perfect. Don’t hesitate. Go early as I can see the place filling quickly after 9am.

Rosewater is one of my FAVORITE breakfast spots on the island, everything is fresh and delicious ? with great options for everyone. The egg sandwich on a biscuit is my go to AND breakfast is available ALL DAY LONG. So even if you're a late riser, you can still get your grub on.
