Very disappointing tonight. Nachos were stuck to paper so couldn't eat all. Steak was all fat so sent back and got fish. The fish was undercooked. No manager to be found and charged for dinner.

One of only 3 places we could find open on a mid week spring afternoon. Nice atmosphere. Affordable and the burger was delicious. Seemed fire grilled. Server was clearly not thrilled to be working but who really is, right? I was pleased to have found it and met our needs perfectly that day.

Nice place. Been here a couple times any times I'm in the vineyard. You can never go wrong with the Fish n chips or fish sandwich. The potato skins and chili is pretty delicious too.

Comfortable eatery with the best fish sandwich I have had in a long time and I live in Maine.

I am totally traumatized by my experience at the Wharf over the weekend. My boyfriend and I are regular customers and love the staff. My brothers were visiting for Christmas in Edgartown. We had lunch and were watching the band play when my brother came up to me and put his arm around my shoulder. A woman manager then came up to me and said my brother had to leave because he put his hands on me. I explained to her that he's my brother and it's ok. She said we both had to leave. As she's ushering us out the door a male manager follows us out yelling at us to leave. I was explaining to him what happened and she said she was getting the police. We walked away but it was quite a commotion. Shortly thereafter we were walking down the street and a police officer plucked me off the sidewalk, handcuffed me and arrested me for disorderly conduct. I had to spend the rest of the day in jail and go to court yesterday where the charges were quickly dismissed by the Commonwealth. I'm grateful for that but I will never get over the trauma that I experienced and I will certainly never go to the Wharf again.

The food was good. It's a bit pricey. The waitress seemed distracted.

Ended up here 3 times on a work trip. Ordered steak frites all 3 times…the 2 orders I had at night were amazing, cooked perfectly, had the perfect amount of char on it and seasoned very well. The one time I went for lunch had me asking if I received the same meal. Maybe it’s a hit or miss or maybe skip during lunch hours. Nonetheless service was amazing all the time, drinks were good.

Casual atmosphere, good food and friendly staff. Interesting house drinks and an impressive selection of amari.

Disappointed. While it was off season so it's mostly locals, do not keep trying to buy someone shots when they tell you NO. The insistent badgering of the obviously drunk patron was extremely off putting and had me leaving before I would have. The continued service to the obviously drunk patron by the bartender was insulting as was the bartender doing shots with said obviously drunk patron. The grilled chicken sandwich was a piece of chicken on a bun.....sans pickles or any type of condiments, and while the chicken was juicy, with nothing else in the sandwich it was dry and hard to get through. Everything you add (other than the pickles the sandwich is supposed to come with) is an additional charge(s).The pretzel sticks and beer cheese were good and a lot for the appetizer amount (13 4in sticks), enough for a meal by itself or definitely to share. The obviously drunk patrons that continued to be served was the main issue. I don't care if they are regulars and the locals. They are drunk and you keep them more providing more alcohol is where I find elsewhere to dine next time I'm there.

The croutons were stale in both salads, and there was glass or plastic in the flank steak salad. The waitress was very nice. Took it off the bill. Not going back there EVER! I won't add the picture.

We went to the Wharf after a dear friends mother's funeral. It was her mother's wishes after her service for all involved to go & get drunk. Well, we didn't get drunk but did have a couple of cocktails & a very yummy lunch. It was a sad service but comforting to be all together. The Wharf & John made our visit a special occasion.

The food was average at best, but the service was awful. We felt like we were an inconvenience to our waitress Kerry. No smile when we sat, basically, what to you want. After the food cam there was no follow-up. The bun on my fish sandwich was burnt with chars of what ever was on the grill beforehand. Won't be going back.
