Tasty goodies and very friendly customer service! Everything was super fresh. Some pastries were a bit on the sweet side for me - but as a reference others tend to like that amount of sweetness.

Fantastic place with the most delicious pastries - omg! I came here for breakfast, had one of the pastries, columbian coffee and a vegetarian omelette. All of it was really good and tasty. The omelette comes with potatoes and toast. I got a second pastry and round of coffee after the first one because it was so good. Thank you to the lovely staff as well! And free Wifi is also a plus, especially when you're travelling and you don't have data :)

Cookies I got were dry and tasted stale, cheesecake tasted rancid, and the churro I got was soggy and drowned in dulce de leche sauce.

We stayed in Everett and stopped here for our first breakfast and it was great. A wide selection of pastries and what we tried was awesome. Had a traditional kind of breakfast: eggs, meat, potatoes and toast and it hit the spot. The potatoes were unexpectedly perfect.

I love this place! Delicious food and great service. Chocolate cake, açaí and rosca doce are my favorite.

Few points I wanted to make because I feel some of their reviews are..let's just say..not great. I had quite the opposite experience and think this needs to be highlighted as well.Came in near close on a Friday. I am not Brazilian and was greeted almost immediately with a smiling face. She was super friendly throughout our entire interaction.I picked up a HUGE assortment of baked goods. When she handed me the bread rolls, she said they were baked fresh that morning. This was definitely accurate as this bread was soft AF and so delicious. I had one as soon as I unpacked my goodies!Everything else looks amazing! This was my first time at a Brazilian bakery so I'm not sure what the other treats are called. The caramel soft churro dessert ? ??Get it!! OMG!!Too many other fresh baked items to name. I will be back.

Solid place for typical and traditional Brazilian breakfast and "fast food". Ordered the pão de queijo, kibe, cupuaçu smoothie, and 3 different rocambole cakes. The pão de queijo tasted fresh, but were light on cheese. I've been eating Brazilian kibe for 32 years and this is the first time I've had kibe with potatoes in the filling. I thought it was an interesting touch and added a different texture profile. It was really nice! Most kibe at other restaurants in the area can be really salty and overfried, this one was perfectly seasoned and soft. The cupuaçu smoothie was delicious and tasted pure. The rocambole cakes were good, 2 out of the 3 were really moist and soft. The 3 leites was really dry and disappointing. The passion fruit one was really nice but I didn't like that the cake part was chocolate. Thankfully the chocolate flavor was not strong. I'd eat here again!

I came here towards the end of the night and got an assortment of things based on what they had left. The young woman who helped me out was super nice and helpful with any questions that I had. Out of everything that I got (both sweet and savory, the Pão de Queijo was probably my favorite. They're a good combination of fluffy and chewy. I'd go back for those alone.

I love everything about this bakery from the costumer service to the delicious food. The place is very well kept, clean and it has a nice vibe. They have such a large variety of things to choose from. I love the Bauru and the kibe is the best I’ve had here in Boston. The cheese bread and the rice pudding are to die for as well. I’m hungry just to think about it. Renata is such a lovely lady and everybody that works there are very friendly and nice. I have been a customer for years and I only have good things to say about Bakes and Cakes Bakery.

I come here several times a week for the fresh warm bread, sandwiches, and sweets. The lunch plates likewise are delicious and the staff is super friendly. So glad to have them just down the street. 5/5 would recommend!
