We've been getting food here for years now, and have always enjoyed everything. Since the ownership change, or management change...it's just not what it used to be. The fried rice we got last night was a bit undercooked, and all the grains were very broken. The chicken fingers are not the same as they used to be. The batter is not as tender. Even the chow mein just isn't the same. And charging $4.25 for an extra bag of chow mein noodles is a bit outrageous. That's half the price of an entree.I sadly don't think we will be supporting this place any longer. RIP China Star. It was good while it lasted.

Used to be great! Until it was sold to the current owners. The food is not the same. I had an egg roll that I squeezed and a stream of grease came squirting out it was disgusting! We used to go here sometimes 2x a week we ask for well done but they don't seem to know how to do well done. The boneless ribs are 95% fat. Very disappointing since this was our favorite Chinese place. We won't be giving them our business anymore.

This place rocks!!!! My favorite is the Singapore Mai Fun. And there boneless spare ribs are the bomb. Not a ounce of fat on them DEFINITELY THE BEST AROUND

We've been patrons at China Star for years, their fried rice was amazing but now not so much. I'm not sure if the business is under new ownership but the food is not the same. The crab rangoons have a sweet almost rancid taste, fried rice was very greasy, beef lo mein was vey mushy, the fortune cookies had no fortunes and even the house duck sauce wasn't good. I'm sorry to say but we're now looking for another Chinese food place to order from.

Been coming to this place for years! Food is always great. Workers are also very friendly! Best Chinese food in the area!!

The absolute worst Chinese food I have ever had. It’s honestly an insult to Chinese food. I have had Chinese food in many different places, and this was by far the worst. A poor excuse for food.We ordered Szechuan Chicken, Vegetable Chow Mein, and Sautéed Broccoli. The chow mein was horrible. The noodles were so dry and stale. They had a horrible smell and the “stir fry sauce” was disgusting black liquid with no flavor, just salt. The szechuan chicken is also not szechuan chicken, what they served us was sautéed peppers and onions in garlic like sauce tossed with some chicken. The broccoli was dry and flavorless.Do not waste your money here. If you’re hungry, go somewhere else or stay hungry because their food is horrible.

This place is disgusting since the new owners took over! Dirty grease constantly used to fry food. The French dries and chicken fingers have been HORRIBLE because of dirty grease. The chow main noodle bags are ridiculously small now for a large chow mein. The fried rice has Boneless ribs in it instead of them cut them up for the rice they're too lazy and leave mist of them whole.Definitely can tell it's new owners...save your money....

The food is amazing. This place could capitalize on more exposure to customers if they offered a delivery. When other Chinese food places are closed, the quality of the food from this place could really impact late nights in this area. It’s sad they don’t offer delivery. They could be making a lot more money. And creating a bigger name for themselves.

Glad they’re finally open at 1130 again, the food has made a strong comeback tasting how it did back in the day I love it. My only criticism is the hot and spicy beef needs way more beef in it. I’ve order twice and the vegetable ratio is way off please fix guys.

I'm fielding other opinions so I can test them. But I've never ordered a dish here that wasn't impressive. Singapore Mai Fun will be my final meal if I'm ever wrongly accused of the worst and found guilty. I always ask for chopsticks so I can learn. It's quite a challenge with their excellent Chicken Rice Soup (scoop and slurp, I guess). I was depressed when they discontinued the Cold Sesame Noodle. I'm on a Vegan-Seafood diet, but this is my cheat day oasis.
