Tonight was our first time at BarCa and it was amazing! Definitely a small hidden gem in Fall River. The food and wine were excellent. The place is small and the service is slowly paced, but if you're looking for a romantic night or a night of catching up with friends, it's perfect! The house red wine was excellent - full bodied and smooth. For meals, we got the shrimp Mozambique, the chicken Mozambique and the tuna. All three of us LOVED our meals! The Mozambique sauce is perfectly seasoned. For dessert, we split the chocolate cake, which was also very good.

The food was awesome. The fresh cheese was the best I have ever eaten. The cheese doesn’t fall apart and you can order it to go anytime. The steak plate was unbelievable and the cod fish was awesome. Definitely coming back.

Small restaurant with some of the best authentic Portuguese food. Stuff your grandparents made! Couldn't believe how good the food was. Perfect portions, wonderful presentation and flavorful sauces just the whole package. Very personable staff. The cook even came out to help serve the food. Very clean modern space. The Octopus was phenomenal and service was great! I arrived early for my reservation ahead of my companions, the host sat me anyway and brought me wine, cheese and bread while I waited...very gracious! The Octopus Stew was great..so tender and flavorful...perfect meal all around.

First time here, food was outstanding, fresh takes on traditional Portuguese menu items. Both our meals tasted fresh and flavorful! Server was attentive and accommodating to any request. Wine list was very good, Great experience, wish we had been there before, will be back!

I spoke with who I believe is the owner, this place has been in Fall River for 41 years. I have passed this place many times and always stopped at Sagres for Portuguese food. The place is small but the food is fresh and amazing. The service is very slow so if you’re in a rush this place isn’t for you. I definitely will be coming back here again. Sagres was my go to but Barca is now my first choice. I believe I spoke to the owner who was very nice and shared how it’s just two people working in the seating area and it works for him. The only suggestion I would make is to hire an additional waitress.

Very expensive for the service they provide, VERY SLOW service.. our waitress had no experience on serving you could tell.. we asked for a cup of water with lemon , we got a 1lt water bottle and serve “yourself kinda thing” and then we got charged 8$ for the water. You will pay for the bread and butter also. Nothing is complimentary the owner had no clue we had a reservation!! We had to wait over 15 min for that one waitress to clean a table for us.. food was good but very expensive compared to others in the area.
BraCa Resturant on Columbia St in Fall River is one of the best Portuguese restaurants I've experienced , the food, the service, and the decor is exceptionally well appointed. I highly recommend the dish I ordered which was the Bacalhau a Braz Barbara

OMG! This place is a hidden gem in Fall River. It was so clean and the decor was absolutely beautiful. The owner was a sweetheart too. I got the piri pi chicken with linguine and my boyfriend got the short rib special. The short rib fell off the bone, literally amazing. The peri pi chicken was so good I already want to come back and get it again. I don't eat seafood and I got just chicken with mine, which was made no issues at all! Really really loved this place and we will absolutely be back.
We loved Barca! Lovely atmosphere, fantastic food & the owner/bartender/server was personable, warm & skillful, even though he had a full restaurant on a Saturday night with only one other server. Will definitely be back!!!!
