The atmosphere is good lots of interesting old pictures of Fall River on the walls. Service is fine. Ladies behind the counter are very friendly . The food is only mediocre at best. The hot dogs the best according to 2 of the 4 of us that dined. Clam cakes are terrible . Order 12 for 4 of us and no-one liked them. One of the people I dined with order the chowder and fish . She didn't like either and did not like the clam cakes. Another person did like the fish but didn't like the chowder or clam cakes. The third person didn't order any thing but tried one clam cake and left it in his plate. I order a salad which was fine but didn't like the clam cakes and I don't eat hot dogs. I am giving the restaurant a 3 only because the people who run it are nice and hots dogs good as reported by the 2 people who ate them. As far as food goes, only the hot dogs won out.Parking: typical in Fall River

My wife and I stop in here for lunch at least twice a month. We've been dozens of times in the last few years. The place is small but always clean. The owner and staff always friendly and competent. I usually get the hotdogs with a side of poutine fries but can say that the chow mien sandwich and seafood plates are crowd favorites here too. This is one of those local businesses that earns the loyalty of their clientele.Wheelchair accessibility: You can get a wheelchair to the take out window and outside dining area in the gravel parking lot but there is a step to get inside. It's an old building with limited real estate so there isn't much to be done about it.

Faneek's is pretty cool. The hot dogs are good, and there are a huge amount of other choices from their menu. Seafood, burgers, fries, all kinds of stuff. I got the hot dog flight, which is eight different (half) hot dogs. My favorite was the chourico dog!The service was great too. Very friendly. Business was steady but not packed, and I would say, it's not fast food, but it wasn't slow either. About what I'd expect if I had to make eight different things! The atmosphere is 100% local. Lots of Fall River history on the walls which I liked, along with a coherent themed art display from local elementary school students. Uncrowded seating in basic tables and chairs, in a sunny dinning room. It's not a Michelin restaurant, but it is a five star hot dog spot!Parking: Gravel lot with maybe ten spaces total.
