Our weekly trek to President Ave New York Bagel today Sunday 3/24/24 @ 7:05a never disappoints Although there were microphone issues and we were 9 cars behind everyone was very courteous we placed our order at the window and were asked to drive back around building to wait in line again to pick up order which I realize was necessary to keep line moving…our “back in line” meant we were now more than 10 cars in line…our order was ready with a smile on our servers face saying “I got to see you twice today” Hats off to New York Bagel always worth the wait!

This was the first time I had been to new york bagel since the new ownership, and let me tell you about the shock that came over me when I looked into my bag and saw cream cheese on the side in tiny little cups. This is outrageous. I come to new york bagel for the convenience and amazingly fresh bagels. New york bagel is quite literally a delicacy. Now, the taste is still just the same but it truly set me off when I realized I had to put the cream cheese on myself with a flimsy little knife. “We will not be changing anything about the bagels” quoted from the new owners facebook. Hmmmmmmm looks like you didn’t keep that promise!Sincerely, a customer who will not be visiting as often because of this tomfoolery.

NY Bagel is so good that I routinely drive 30 miles to stock up there. I have tried ALL of the other Bagel places near where I live in Newport RI, & I don't bother trying other places anymore!Let me also point out that you'd better get your bagels early, as they typically start running out of various types of bagels by early afternoon, & dining in isn't even available! If that fact alone isn't convincing, I don't know what else to say!

Had a toasted garlic with cream cheese and chive, turkey and onion. It's what my son ordered so i had the same. Probably would not have thought of it. But it was surprisingly delicious and satisfying lol. Wanted Asiago but they run out all the time! Still drive through only, at this location anyway.

I’ve been to this place a few times over the years and I never really take the time to write bad reviews, but I’m super disappointed with my experience. I ordered the following items: BLT with American cheese on plain bagel, green salad, chocolate chip muffin, and a bagel with cream cheese, lox, onions and tomatoes. All of that came to $36.00 which didn’t add up to the menu pricing they have listed online or at the drive thru. And on top of that I didn’t get one of the items I ordered. At the time I didn’t think anything of it until I got home and looked at the menu again. I see a few other reviews that had the same issue. I understand menu pricing can change, but the pricing should be updated because this was quite a difference between the menu pricing and what I was actually charged for. Just wanted to warn others out there to be cautious of this when going there.

Worst customer service ever from a drive through employee. Girl working the window had the worst attitude ever. Besides the horrible attitude from the start she Forgot to give us our coffees and then pretty much was pissed that she had to make them and made it a POINT to tell us that we had to pay for them as she didn't originally charge us for them like it was our fault she forgot them. Customer service doesn't exist this place.
I love love this place! Bagels are great, we get it every weekend and look forward to it. My only complaints is I wish they would open inside again, I miss eating inside and the drive through line not being so long. And updating there hours. I hate when I look up if they are open and they advertise they are open, then I drive all the way over there and they are not. This has happen a few times and it’s quite annoying. But other wise, great food and great service.

I went in there and ordered a bagel, got to my work. It was the wrong bagel when I called the girl said to me well I can't see it over the phone I said well I can't leave my job and she said I don't know what to tell you and she started laughing. I called back to ask and speak to the manager. She said she was the manager and then I said then one who is the owner she said the owner made your bagel and she did fine. Have a great day I'm busy Real professional I will never go back there again!!!

I used to love this place until they started ripping people off. Apparently you can’t order a bagel with turkey because they just charge you for an entire turkey sandwich and then UPCHARGE you to add cream cheese. $16 for a bagel with 2 turkey slices. Nothing on their menu even cost that much. I’ve attempted to reach out multiple times and I get no response. I won’t be supporting this business anymore.

Wondering if I really just paid $6.09 for a bagel with cream cheese after waiting in a drive through line for 15 minutes. Trying to look up why it went from being under four dollars to almost 7! I couldn’t hear what the girl said to me. Not sure if they are charging to put cream cheese on the bagel, but they don’t always even ask that….and secondly, if you order a sandwich, do you get the sandwich in separate peices to put together yourself? ? then she joked about giving her a tip. I don’t even know at this point how I was even charged correctly. I’m never going back here again.
