The people writing bad reviews need to check the expiration dates on the box. The cooking oil used gets rancid fast and if you buy a box beyond the expiration date the store you bought it at doesn’t care.

One of my favorite foods from childhood, I have to have it shipped to where I am now. I have experienced the rancid flavor before -- the noodles are fried and will go bad if stored for a while at room temperature. I put all the boxes I'm not going to eat immediately in the freezer then take them out as needed. Tastes just like I remembered.

This local gem crafting chow mein from scratch since 1926 has mastered the art of flavor. Time-honored recipes make each bite a journey through history. A must-visit for anyone seeking authentic, delicious chow mein. The staff was super friendly and informative as well!

Loved using this for chow mein sandwiches and we were horrified at the bitter taste this time. Looking for the source we went to open the pack of noodles and it was a horrible chemical smell, something is NOT RIGHT. With all of the reviews posted this is a problem they know about. They should pull their items from the shelves. If I get sick I will be SO PISSED.

I have been coming here & so has my entire family for many years. Their products are amazing! Gravy mix is awesome! Bean sprouts are always fresh!! WE LOVE ORIENTAL !!

I don't understand how so many people are saying it taste like chemicals. I come down to fall river periodically and get a few boxes from the store on 8th street. Always taste great. The guy who said he tried 50 to 75 times and it always taste bad is definitely exaggerating.

Been going here since I was a kid you can't get the noodles any fresher I was so happy they reopened after the fire wasn't sure if I would ever eat Chow mein again

It’s truly the best chow mein noodles and gravy around. Excellent customer service. Your in and out in minutes. Very fair pricing.

If you go right to them and buy the chow mein it's amazing!! But if you buy a box from a grocery store they are inedible. You guys need to fix your issue you are losing so much business and giving your company a bad name. I love this chow mein my family eats it all the time but I will only buy the noodles from the location on 8th street.

Lov d this chow mein forever but bought a batch just recently and the noodles were HORRIBLE. Funky taste of metal of chemicals or something we could not eat !!!!!!! Threw it out. Fix it or lose our business ??

Before their fire this was ALWAYS great. After the fire at least 90% or 98% of the time the noodles are RANCID. Tried over and over again just to throw it out. Must have been 50-75 tries. I stopped wasting my money. My 45 year old daughter - same story, she will no longer buy it. Seems the company just keeps on sending it to the stores. I am gonna miss the chowmein when they go out of business. Today I will go directly to the store in Fall River and try one last time for as fresh as I can get, then freeze the noodles. I will post results.
