This place was average at best but very expensive for what it is. I usually don’t write reviews but we spent 100 dollars for something that could easily be half the price and taste much better somewhere else. Edible and an option if nothing else is available but definitely would never go to again and would not recommend if you have a any other option.

Kid-friendliness: Obviously not a place for kids primarily, but we had my niece (3) and they were very accommodating for her.

Quaint little restaurant in town that had all of the old timey charm while being clean and elegant. We went during Cape Cod's off season during lunch and it was not very busy at all. We tried the lobster rolls, korean fried chicken sandwich, and the appetizer wings. The lobster roll is served cold and is very flavorful. The korean fried chicken sandwich was amazing! Staff was nice and attentive!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Sunday Buffet Brunch. The buffet was plentiful with lots of delicious things from which to choose and at an excellent price point for such a variety and abundance of well prepared and presented food. Everything was delicious. The blueberry lemon cake is sublime! The room was comfortable with a lovely view to the pond and felt intimate without feeling crowded. Our server was fantastic and the bartender made a perfect martini! Top notch from start to finish!!!

Tonight my family and I dined at Eli’s Tavern at the Coonamessett Inn. Having been to their excellent brunch in the past, I was excited to finally dine there for dinner. However, it was the furthest thing from the pleasurable experiences I’ve had there for brunch in the past.We had a 6:30 reservation that we were immediately checked in for. After that it was just a waiting game. Twenty five minutes had passed before we approached an employee asking if we had a server. A server immediately came to our table to take our drink order as well as our food order since we had been waiting for so long and we knew what we wanted. For an appetizer we ordered the mac and cheese bites special. When our server eventually came over with our drinks she informed us that they were out of the app but would bring over some dinner rolls while we waited for our entrees. Five minutes later our server came back (without rolls) to let us know that they indeed had the appetizer, but were out of one of our ordered entrees (also a special). When our app finally arrived, they were frozen cold in the center. We returned the plate and asked for the dinner rolls that we were promised but never did receive. When it was time for the entrees, nothing came out at the same time. I was lucky enough to have my bacon cheeseburger delivered first, only to find it cold from the first bite. At this point I had asked to speak with the manager.More time had passed and we were impatiently looking around the restaurant for someone that looked like a manager. We eventually found her chatting with other patrons and presumably regulars, while we continued to sit there beyond unsatisfied, before tending to our table. This was an immediate red flag to us knowing there was no urgency by any of the staff, or the manager Dawn, to fix our meals or experience. Although Dawn was nice enough to comp our bill, it still left a sour taste in all of our mouths, as we weren’t tempted to order something else for a third time.I am typically not one to leave a review, especially knowing that all restaurants have their bad days. However, I was so displeased with my experience, it was one that I will never forget.

Eclectic menu with daily specials and discounts ($1.50 oysters on Thursdays, for instance). Food was nice & hot when it came out and Pam, our server, was outstanding. Prices typical for Cape Cod. Good entertainment too.

It is a special treat to come to Eli's Tavern. Our family members enjoy our time together in this lovely pub setting. (8 of us!) We would not be able to do so without the specials you offer. Our server treated better than if we were visitors from outside the area. She made us feel comforted if an issue needed to be resolved (burger not done well enough) and she gave us the opportunity to refill soda's with ease. By far the best hometown restaurant on the Cape.

Old charm tavern-esq atmosphere of dark oak, beamed ceilings, real leather seats. Great bar set up. Shoutout to Gabbie, she was great all night long. Fairly quiet which is typical down the Cape this time of year. Food was fab, great vibes. I had the roast duck entree. Incredible. If you are close to the Coonamessett Inn in Falmouth, the Tavern is part of this historic landmark. But Eli a pint. It's a tradition!!! Bon appetite

Food mediocre at best combined with terrible service and an incredibly rude maitre de. Prices too high to excuse such a poor dining experience. I will not be recommending Eli's regardless of the history of the Inn.

Had the fish and chips- didn't realize it was a Friday night special and was $15 instead of the regular price of $24 so it was a better deal than I expected. Big piece of fish, fried just right, french fries were crispy. I have to mention that the side of cole slaw was the best I have ever had. I know that no one eats the cole slaw, but this was exceptional. I think they put scallions in it. Wife had the pan roasted cod- she said it was excellent, with double veg instead of potato. Sauteed spinach was very good as well. Nice place to relax and enjoy a meal out. Ambience was relatively quiet, they had a guitar player singing songs- all recognizable classics. The volume was just the right level to enjoy, but not enough to affect our table conversations. Will definitely go back.

The food never disappoints. The service is very good except if it gets crowded. The waitress asked if we wanted rolls and butter, we said yes but she never brought any. The tables in the dining room are really small almost two small for 4 people to sit at.
