The food is good although its over priced. The service is fair. I purchased a significant amount of gift certificates and it took them at least 10-15 minutes to process them. When one of the recipients went to use the gift certificates they didn't work. I have the credit card proof of purchase receipt. ??? Very disappointing.

Outstanding French bakery on Main Street in Falmouth. Plan on waiting in line to get your goodies but the food is well worth the wait. The sandwiches, breads, desserts, and pastries are all top notch. It is easy to say what is good there - everything! They don't have indoor seating since Covid but there is a nice little area across the street with some benches to sit and enjoy your food.

all the pastries are top notch, and it feels like they come back in Paris or Germany or Netherlands. from the sandwiches, they have premade to the cakes and pastries. Definitely worth trying and if you want to experience European boulangerie, without going there, visit

I've been a regular patron of Maison Villatte since 2015. I've never had a sub-par French bakery item - ever! When asked, I recommend Maison Villatte (MV) first amongst Falmouth's fine eating establishments. Thank you MV for making Falmouth a wonderful place to live and visit. If I could improve anything it would be expediting the ordering process with the menu staples and incorporate an online order register.

I've lived in Normandy and Paris. Maison Villate transports me to my happy places and, thanks to them, i've been able to introduce my partner to REAL French baked breads and pastries! She's in awe!

My family and I have vacationed at Cape Cod the past three summers, and every trip we make sure to stop by this bakery at least twice. The pastries are incredibly fresh and taste amazing. We always get a large array of things to try and share with one another. The assortments are very reasonably priced, especially taking into consideration how tasty they are. There is always a very long line, so be sure to get there early.

First off, cute little bakery. The service was very quick and attentive. The food....out of this world. The croissants...wow. Just wow. So buttery. And let's not forget. Super flaky. And the crunch? In LOVE. The Tarte Au Berries were so tasty. The espresso buche was so tasty. The only unfortunate issue is that I find it super small. I guess it's a sign to buy the bigger version next time, but other than that the smaller version is nice if you want a bite size taste. The pricing was good. I thought I'd go over board but I felt I got much bang for my buck. I come from New York City so this bakery was better than the ones in New York. Also not pictured in but I bought two strawberry mini jams. I've never been a jam type of girl but this bakery put me on!

What a lovely find! Some very tempting confections and a great latte. The proprietor is kind and sweet. She sent us home with a beautiful loaf of bread because they were closing up shop, and she didn't want it to go to waste. Now it has gone to our waist. Wink wink.

(Last visited 5/6/2022.) Vacationing in Cape Cod and it's about time to head home, but before we do, we absolutely HAD to stop by this gorgeous French bakery right on Main Street since they close earlier in the day. So why not make a breakfast out of it?!Atmosphere/Appearance: Set right on the main strip near the busy entryway of downtown is this gem. You can smell the fresh baked goods all the way down the street and once you're inside you're IMMERSED in the beauty of all of the hand-crafted goodies that are all made one by one! I LOVED this. Family-owned, created by hand and all baked with love. You don't get that a lot anymore. The decor was simple, straightforward and not too drastic. It really felt like I was back in Bordeaux hoping to find a fresh baguette to go with my wine!Service: Everything is counter-service here so you go up to the counter right near the front door to order. You can ask 1,000,000 questions and they'll keep their patience with you because honestly, there's just SO MUCH STUFF here to gawk at and drool over. Lol. You'll seriously want one or even 2 of everything.Food: During my visit I tried what I believe was a chocolate-filled eclair, a fruit tart and some sort if flatbread-cheesy-pretzel deliciousness. Lol. Everything was spectacular. I won't even get into the specifics, just know they can do no wrong here!Value: It's a French bakery, so you can get a lot for your money here, but it'll add up quickly. In conclusion, I loved this place and had I known it was here earlier in the week I would've tried to convince the wife to take a walk every morning to try something different each day!
