Drawing Board has great beer that changes regularly, great people working there (also the owners and brewers!), great people who go there, and (maybe the best part) they are a genuine community space. They have everything from puzzles, events, and poetry to games and reading nights. They're situated near a lot of dinner options as well and are happy for people to bring food and come hang out. They're good at what they do and they're truly local in the sense that they foster community and are committed to making sure people have a good time whenever they stop by.

Walking inside I was greeted by a plethora of nice people. Not only was the owner kind enough to let my dog inside, but took a picture of him as well for his wall! The vibe inside was very low key and friendly. They didn't have a large selection of beers on tap, but those they had were very good. They also have an array of canned options.

WOW! This place is awesome! I've tried a few of their beers so far - all were great but the "Gemütlichkeit" is my favorite! Super kind owners and I love looking at all the artwork on the cans. Definitely check this place out!

All the beers are killer. We got one of each kind to make our selves a variety pack and we haven't had a bad one yet. If you are into high ABV hop bombs this place isn't for you (check out Progression instead). If you're into dark/ smoky lagers, pilsners, or stouts you will find a lot to enjoy.

I've been a couple of times now and each generation of beer has gotten better (and they do small batches, so the generations turn over quickly). The owner said they're going to have a seasonal rotation, so, based on their early offerings, I can't wait to see what's ahead! Oh... There's no taproom yet, but I hear it's in the works. Will update when I can check it out!

While it is still a relatively "new" brewery and some growing pains are to be expected my initial impression of Drawing Board is less than favorable. I purchased some cans as the taproom is a work in progress and simply put, I was not impressed with the flavor, varieties, quality or mouthfeel of the beer. Parking is also not very clear. I parked in the front of the brewery and while there were small signs to where to purchase beer the walkway to the back of the brewery where there were cans was not cleared of ice or snow and it appeared unsafe. Many of the beers available seemed to be "experimental" such as lavender saison, and more traditional beers like ipas were not available. Not sure how I feel as I like variety but as mentioned above I was not in love with any of my purchases. With that said the person working there was definitely friendly and helpful. Hoping they continue to improve as they grow and iron some things out

Passing through Florence on our bicycles on Saturday 6/19 we stopped at a favorite brew pub location just off the bike trail. It is now Drawing Board Brewing Company. They looked closed as we pulled up in front but someone on the street said they were selling cans around back. We rode around back and were able to buy a 4 pack of Whit Beer. (?) Not sure if that was the name or not. They don't yet have their license to serve sit down customers. Anyhow, the beer was cold, and clean tasting. Not real hoppy or wheat tasting. Low alcohol content, refreshing if a bit immature. (Not much taste.) We would like to try some of their other beers when they get into full swing.
