Had Davois for the first time the other night. Started with the draft Davio's blood Harpoon. Thought it was pretty good. The bread they put on the table is awesome. Had the lobster risotto which I thought was okay. Finished the night with some creme brulee. Thought it was pretty sweet, but good. For the price you pay, not blown away with the overall experience. Had high hopes. Would try it again and possibly a different dish. Our waiter was pretty good. Tough to get good photos of the dishes. Pretty low light setting.

The service was fantastic. The food, not so much. For the price, not worth it at all.The calamari was awful, chewy and bland. The salad had huge pieces of uncut lettuce. The short ribs left much to be desired. Their variety of steak was also lacking.Do not order the chocolate cake for dessert. Big disappointment.There are far better steak places. Save your money, or instead try Fleming’s or Del Frisco’s.

Last night we had made a reservation for a birthday dinner. Admittedly, the reservation was mistakenly for 4 adults and we had 5 in our party. We did walk in at 7:45 and were not spoken to again until 10 after eight telling us our table was then ready 10 minutes late. Once they attempted to see us, they realized there were five in our party. They could not seat five at the same table.There were inexperienced hostesses appearing to pose as flight attendants "seeing what they could do". No offer to grab us seats together at the bar or seat us in any of the 20 booths available with zero customers and maybe a mention it could be a few minutes. We as a family eat out regularly having the disposable income to do so. This establishment is apparently great if you're in your 20's early 30's and couldn't care less how you're treated. We had two in our party needing to sit down. So while we were waiting for our table to become available, they walked to the bar to grab seats. The bartender rudely explained to a 70-year-old plus gentleman that he could not sit there because the person in that seat was in the bathroom with no drink in front of it, or a jacket to hold the spot. When my sister-in-law walked back into the restaurant to ask about speaking to the manager, the inexperienced manager needing training did not do anything about the situation. She offered to mark it in the system in case we returned. This establishment just lost $1000 in one night and does not care about that fact. We love Davio's, but absolutely would never eat at this branch ever again. They need some serious training. For a price of a steak here you can have five drinks at Bar Louie across the street and be treated with white glove service by their waitress. Do that math!

What a place. Very upscale .Great service.Food was great. Atmosphere was great. We had to have our server explain the menu. lol. Ended up getting the Bolgonese and my wife the Penne with smoked chicken. We loved it.It was definitely pricey, But definite must try.

The Foxboro location was horrible. We called ahead to see if we could get a table and were told an hour and a half wait time. After an hour and a half were then told it would be another 30 minutes. After two hours of waiting were told it would be another 30 minutes because reservations come first. If they would have told us that ahead of time we wouldn’t have wasted 2 hours of standing in a busy doorway waiting for a table. I’ve always hear decent things about the food but if you don’t make a reservation ahead of time don’t bother trying they will just waste every moment of your time…. Awful service in my opinion. If they want to just be reservations on certain nights then staff should tell people that when they come in.
