Congratulations, you did it, you made the world's worst cup of coffee! Seriously their coffee is awful. The omelettes were good as were the hash-browns. My son order pancakes and they were flavorless and made from a mix. The restaurant itself desperately needs a deep clean and some paint. The wait staff was very friendly but they don't give you water. Overall the coffee is very bad and the omelettes pretty good. I'd skip it unless you are near and need something.

Great breakfast after church. It's a big place and almost always full and always need to wait. But I assure you it's worth the wait. I had an apple crisp waffle which was a huge waffle with hot apple crisp piled high in the middle with whip cream nicely laid on top. I also had a side of bacon which was done perfectly as well as some raisin toast. My only complaint was there wasn't much butter on the toast and it was a little burnt but that was ok with me. Our waitress was beyond helpful and kind and made sure to check on us throughout. The check at the end was what you would expect for a breakfast and I will definitely be back!

Highest recommendations the most delicious food. Good size portions. Wonderful prices. Great staff. Extremely friendly. Great to bring children. Family friendly. Plenty of parking it's a good place if you're all alone or you have friends and family with you they also help the communityKid-friendliness: I brought my daughter there. They had a very inexpensive kids menu. The staff was polite. They had high chairs. Did not need it for her but another family needed it next to us. They gave her plenty to eat. They had chocolate milk for her. It was a wonderful experience

TL:DR; I'm really full, generally satisfied, and the people were nice. Competitively priced and good coffee.I needed somewhere new to try in the area and I'd never been before. Driving up, they boast being the #1 breakfast in the country per person served. I have no idea what that meant but I chuckled.Breakfast for one? Sure it's kinda quiet so have a table for 4. By the time I left, it wasn't quiet anymore. High ceilings and minimalist decor appealed to me straight away. Coffee, sir? ☕ Not bad at $2.59 and bottomless of course so I enjoyed 3 cups.I ordered the King's Breakfast - the triple in my mind. Three eggs, three bacon, three sausage, three pancakes, home fries and two slices of toast. Let me break it down but overall I really enjoyed everything.I ordered over medium eggs but got over easy. That's ok, they were eggs. Bacon was a little well done for me but I like it underdone so to most, it would be perfect. The sausage was from a box but it was tasty, nothing to write home about. The potatoes were lightly seasoned and salted - just enough to not taste like boiled then fried potatoes. The pancakes were enormous and lightly dusted with icing sugar - Aunt Jemima on the table in a squeezy bottle. Really good and sizable pumpernickel bread but lots of other options too. What shocked me was how my breakfast came out in about 2 ½ minutes which means everything was just ready to be played in the back. It made me question its freshness but you know what, it all tasted good so maybe speed is the name of the game now. I can appreciate that if there's no sacrifice to quality.A big breakfast and three cups of coffee for just over $20USD plus tax and tip is reasonable in 2024. Huge shout-out to Lisa D who kept the coffee coming and had a friendly smile and respectable distance otherwise. She's working her butt off for us and she deserves to know it's appreciated!See you on the road!

FINALLY a breakfast joint that’s not afraid to say “Yes! We WILL serve you eggs in a puddle of their own sweat! And NO! We’re not afraid to charge top dollar for it!” Man I’m telling you when I was told on the phone that my order of four eggs and six strips of bacon was going to be ***$25.00*** I said to myself, “sounds a bit pricey, but they must be good” and by God it was! Good in the way a prisoner at Guantanamo Bay must have felt after having to do 10 backflips for a sip of water.Man, you know what I love? I love parting with $25 for a big pile of pig slop to fill my little piggy mouth with. Oink Oink Oink I’m a good little piggy who needs his slop. You guys must have Bobby Flay back there to be charging those prices! But in all seriousness, check out the photo of the eggs, you see the nice little bath of egg sweat they were chilling in. Mmmm egg sweat. Thanks, King St. Cafe! This was way better than what I was going to have for breakfast this morning (a bullet).

Walked into the restaurant today and the hostess look absolutely miserable. A guy came up to her and you could tell he was a regular and said bye to her and have a nice day and she couldn't even smile at him, she tilted her head and looked annoyed and said bye. Not a good start to breakfast, hostesses are the first impression you get when you walk into a restaurant. It wouldn't hurt her to smile once in awhile. Then we sat down to order. My mom got a breakfast meal with French toast, eggs and bacon. I ordered my eleven month old French toast and sausage. When the food came the hostess delivered it without a smile and my eleven months old French toast was so hard, I couldn't cut it with the knife. there's no way she could've eaten it. Little did we know the French toast is made with French bread which was not stated on the children's menu. and if you want real French toast you have to order Texas toast. The bacon was so hard you could drop it on the plate and it would shatter. We didn't want to complain so we politely pushed the French toast to the side and continued to eat the other items. We paid for our food and as I was signing the bill my mom said to the waitress Kaylyn that the reason we didn't eat our food was because the French toast was so hard and we didn't realize it was made from French bread. She raised her voice and said "why didn't you tell me this before, we could've tried to make it better" my mom tried to say well we are telling you now so you are aware and she basically yelled at my mom and told her " You need to tell us next time and give us a chance to make it better and there is nothing I can do to help you now". She threw her hands up and walked away. There was no reason for her to scold us for letting her know why we didn't eat or want to take it home. As a waitress she should've noticed the food wasn't eaten and asked if there was something wrong. I use to be a waitress myself and I would never raise my voice at a customer or scold them for telling me the food was bad. We definitely won't be back and I was giving her a normal tip until she raised her voice and I changed her tip immediately. Beau you should really think about teaching your staff how to treat customers and find a new hostess that wants to actually greet your customers when they walk through the door with a smile. Worst $60 bucks spent.

We went in for Christmas Eve brunch and weren't disappointed. The waiter was very polite and the food was amazing. We also ordered hot chocolate which was ok. Home fries were tasty. The banana split waffle had canned strawberries instead of fresh ones, could have been better if it was fresh. Else it's a great place for brunch.

King street is the definition is good not great. Food here is always pretty good. Staff is pretty good but can be slow due to this place always being jammed. Vibes inside are a bit strange and seating is weird. Nicky's is far better in my opinion.

Let me say that I have never been to the King Street Cafe and now I never will go. A dear friend of mines wife had a stroke in March. She is now in a wheel chair and was ready to go to a restaurant for the 1st time since her stroke ( and was excited to try King Street) . While restaurants such as this typically do not take reservations, I called and politely explained my situation to not one, but two people at the cafe. I explained that we needed a table for 4 that could accommodate a wheel chair and is there any way they could PLEASE take a reservation. The first employee simply said we don't accept reservations under any circumstance but that the cafe wouldn't be very busy at 10am on a Saturday. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? That is probably their busiest time. The 2nd employee simply said no reservations. The King Street Cafes, lack of compassion, understanding and their unwillingness to make an exception was disappointing to say the least. I will never go there and will make sure to tell people of my experience.
