(This is a ZERO star review, but Yelp requires one star.) ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE BAGELS!!! I've always purchased bagels from Bagel World in Peabody and Salem but was in the area early Saturday morning and tried Best Bagel. It was horrible, horrendous, horrific, disgusting, and awful. I knew I was in trouble when a basket of bagels came out, and I asked if they were, indeed, fresh, and the lady behind the counter snickered and shook her head "no." The bagels were rubbery and gross! I asked for one lightly toasted, and it was burnt! There were black burn marks on both sides. I asked for cream cheese, and one half of the cut bagel had cream cheese while the other had nothing on it! The Lox was NOT fresh and both smelled and tasted sour. The tomatoes were over ripe also. One bagel was ordered plain. We toasted it the next day, and not one of my 3 bagel-loving children would even eat it--and they never resist a bagel. This is place is awful! Terrible ingredients. STAY AWAY!

Bagels are good, but service is awful! they mixed up our online order insisting the INCORRECT order was ours - my husband went all the way home and back to get the correct order - no apologies and they actually seemed annoyed that they had to correct THEIR mistake.Then when we got the correct order, it was still missing a bagel! Not the first time we have dealt with the rude staff there - this will be our last visit. Again, good food but the staff is just the worst and not worth dealing with the incompetence! Go up the street to Ultimate Perk instead- great coffee, better selection, and the crew is the best! always friendly and never make the customers feel like an imposition.

I decided to bring a dozen bagels to work for a party. I'm thankful for order ahead. Also the fact that they open so early when I'm driving by at 6am heading towards 95 is so convenient. The staff were super nice and had my order ready when I arrived. Several people asked where I got the bagels from so I know the taste and quality is top notch. I got almost one of every flavor and had them sliced for convenience. I also did a plain and a garlic and herbs cream cheese. So delicious! Maybe one of the best bagel places in the Merrimack Valley.

Ordered online with doordash and got some of the freshest bagles I've had in quite some time! Great exterior on the bagles and super moist and fluffy inside. Best part was adding the house whipped cream cheese to them!Absolutely fantastic! Will definitely order with them in person and online again!

Went here religiously for years but today might be the last. I understand inflation is a thing but most of it, is just price gouging. My order use to come out to under $10 when I first started going. The same order with the same ingredients is now $17 and some change. Spending nearly $20 for a breakfast that you get in a paper bag is crazy. Thats sit down and get waited on prices. I love the food but cant see myself returning until prices become reasonable again.

Best Bagel has becomes something of a religious event for us. Sunday mornings several of us who work in the Emergency Dept come in craving bagel sandwiches and Best Bagel makes that happen. The bagels are fresh, the ingredients delicious and the coffee smooth. If I were to offer one criticism, it would be this, As popular as they are on a Sunday morning, they sometimes miss items. I don't know who is doing the expediting in the kitchen, but when an order for 4 sandwiches only has 3 in the bag.... Well someone should catch that. Don't worry, I'll wait for my breakfast sandwich to come, but it would have been nice to have it when my fellow nurses got theirs.
