Played some live music here. They took great care of the band and our crowd had a blast. Food was delicious. Lobster roll, fish tacos, all fantastic.

Thank you, Gloucester for proving that great food is here. Cierra (spelling?) Thank you for great recommendations, steak tips (bites?) Fried clams, WOW. And the old fashioned, fantastic. My sister and myself loved the music as well. Please, if you have the time and can get into Decklyn's, don't hesitate, it's all amazing. ❣️❣️❣️

Lots of potential, food was almost good. Service was mediocre. Not sure if they had a water damage recently but the inside smelt stale, like moldy.

Staff was friendly and efficient. Food was overpriced. We got lobster empanadas. There were 2 very small empanadas for $18. Pulled pork sandwich was odd. They melted cheese on top of it and the meat was dry. Surf bar atmosphere for a fishing village seems like a misstep made by some commercial venture. The atmosphere seemed out of step with the actual location.

The food is great. Services phenomenal. The atmosphere was OK but we had to request a new table as they are so close together on the deck. Other's conversations are so loud at surrounding tables it was extremely annoying. One lady loudly complaining and whining the entire meal at another table ruining our lunch. Space out tables. Everything else was great.

We chose this restaurant because it was close to the festival and looked like it could be good. Our initial waiter did not want to answer questions on the menu, mumbled under his breath and took the order. This set the tone. We then received waitress and she was fine through our entire experience. However, the young man that brought our food asked we had any questions and I asked how old the fries were because they came out cold and tacky. Rather than asking if he could fix it or saying I'll get your waitress, he just walked away. When he brought the rest of our order because they left the fries off of our kids meal he asked if there was anything else that he could get us and I asked for our waitress at that point to fix the issue with our fries. For the price I expected better quality, and anytime dining out I expect to be treated with a basic level of respect. It's never polite to mumble under your breath when working with the customer.

The food was nothing to write home about, but we didn't go there for it. We went because there was live music. It was a great band (I don't remember the name of it.) We danced for hours. It was a nice crowd.

OK... so the service was beyond lovely. The bartender outside is like the nicest guy you'll ever meet. The food was great too. BUT, there is this really bad smell right as you walk in that will make you turn right around and walk out. So if they can get that under control (old carpet maybe) then I'd give it 5 stars.

This place is owned by an experienced restaurant group that was clearly caught off guard on a busy Saturday during the Gloucester waterfront festival. Lucky to find two seats at the bar, but it didn't matter. Barstaff was so overworked producing drinks for the crush of people in the entire restaurant that we gave up after thirty minutes. Not even eye contact. Will try again on a more typical saturday night and hope they figure it out.

Quickly seated outside with a great view of boats, docks and harbor. Prompt, friendly and attentive service from staff…especially Ralph. Started with drinks including exotics like a hibiscus mule, and local beers like Tail Fin IPA and Clown Shoes. Six kids enjoyed their lemonades and soft drinks. Started with chowder , calamari and lobster empanadas (outstanding!) all very good. Entrees of lobster salad, carbonara (particularly delicious) scallops and seared salmon all presented together with kids’ orders were all hot and gobbled down…even a fussy eater finished. Too full for deserts (unless they had Tonno’s tiramisu board❤️). Very enjoy meal and setting. Thanks Decklins!

Sadly average food with a nice view if you get a seat on the deck. Friendly waitstaff. Lobster roll was about a 1/4 cup meat and a plate full of French fries. Mussels had sand in them.

Was out n about n saw this place. Stopped in for a small bite. Staff friendly and helpful. We had the coconut shrimp and fish tacos. Very good and filling. Had some good laughs with the staff. Location was good and easy parking. We did go right before a lunch crowd hit and later saw the dinner crowd on a Sunday...busy.Kid-friendliness: There were children with family and some children in high chairs..Parking: Depending on day and time there did seem to be a lot of parking options. Either on site or street sideDietary restrictions: We didn't need special food but as with any good restaurant they should definitely be able to accommodate... Just let staff know.
