Not the first time I’ve had an and issue here!Tell me how people can suck so bad at a job , Every worker is terrible at Jim’s the cashier can’t do anything correct, all the workers (7) in the back making the food can’t handle 4 costumers and I watched 2 workers in the back drop my bacon egg and cheese then look at me multiple times to see if I notice then one of those two women came over and handed me that same sandwich. HOW IN THE WORLD DOES THESE WOMEN STILL WORK HERE!!!

UPDATE 3: they’re 0/3 on getting my order right in the last 2 months and now they’re using a different sauce that IS NOT James river barbecue sauce for the James rivers. I think that’s a wrap for my favorite sandwich. Rest in peace king.UPDATE 2: JAMES RIVER SAUCE HAS RETURNEDALL IS RIGHT WITH THE WORLDUPDATE: They have a new menu in their drive through but the James River sandwich is now more expensive AND STILL THEY DO NOT HAVE ACTUAL JAMES RIVER BARBECUE SAUCE ON IT.So I go to Jim’s every weekend for my personal favorite sandwich. This is my order; a James river sandwich with extra cheese and sauce, bacon instead of ham, on a spinach bagel. It is a delicious masterpiece that brings joy to my week. Now last week I ordered one of these bad boys and it was off. It had just some generic sweet bbq sauce on it. It was very disappointing but I figured it may just be an off day for them. This weekend I go. Same order. They didn’t have my bagel but I asked for the same thing and they got the whole sandwich wrong. So I request my correct order again and we get them. It’s the same sauce as the week prior. Now I feel like I shouldn’t have to explain the difference between James River bbq sauce and every bbq sauce but like it’s better AND NOT THE SAME. It’s spicy and Smokey, almost as much a hot sauce as it is a barbecue sauce. It flows so well with the bacon and the tomato with the sweetness of a spinach bagel *chefs kiss* a sweet bbq sauce just ruins the sandwich entirely AND ITS JUST FALSE ADVERTISING NOW.like how you gonna sell me a James River sandwich with no James River on it? please just buy the damn sauce. Best of luck to you guys, I hope you sort this out.

I’ve loved this place for years, but after 3 years of poor and worsening customer service, I’ve decided to bring my business elsewhere. The actual quality and conditions of the store/kitchen is questionable at best, and in the past few years I have seen an employee sneeze or cough while making a sandwich and not change their gloves/start a new sandwich multiple times. During busy hours, it’s always madness trying to place your order, as there seems to be no method as to how they take orders when there is a line of people. I have also had multiple orders, where once Ive gotten home, I realized they left out part of the order. Today was the last straw, when I went in around 2PM to find an empty kitchen with no employees. I waited for about 10 minutes before finally giving up.Great bagels and coffee. It’s a shame it’s just so hard to actually get the food.

Arrived at around 8, went for Bagel sandwiches. I was expecting a horror show based on past reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. Service was fast and efficient, the server was pleasant. The place was clean. I didn’t notice anything scummy or dirty, about the counters, where they were preparing food or the cases where the baked goods are.My bagel sandwich was delicious and we bought a1/2 dozen to go! We also came back with a lobster tail ( only other place I’ve had one is at Carlo’s bakery in Hoboken NJ), a huge cinnamon bun, and some croissants! I’d come back again!
horrible service and nasty employee with an attitude problem who can't even get a bagel right without burning it and who can't listen to simple directions and forgets part of it and makes you crawl out of your car window to grab your food in the pouring rain. love the recipes and the bagels but attitude problem as of recently from a lot of the employees has to change.

Great coffee and real donuts. So much better than dunkin. 10 out of 10 donut. Coffee was great and complimented the donuts perfectly.The staff was great, kind and patient Comfortable seating, bright cheerful atmosphere. Definitely seems like a local hotspot.
