If you are in Gloucester ever you have to get a sandwich here. The fresh bread, fresh cold cuts and amazing service is worth the effort to find this little gem.

We love this place. Every time we are in the area we grab something :) Store looks a little bit updated. Parking is not easy, there are only 2 x 15min parking spots. Or you can try lot in front of 7/11. Busy street.

I had better sandwiches, maybe with better cheese choice and less onion. But it's always worth driving to Gloucester just to visit and enjoy one of your special sandwiches.

Pastries were really good, I really enjoyed their biscotti. And they were really friendly.

Order the Italian sub. Order the Italian sub. Order the Italian sub. Order the Italian sub. Order the Italian sub. Order the Italian sub. Order the Italian sub. And thank me later for making this review the simplest part of your day. And get the large. Small is too small.

Best in Gloucester! The meatball subs are so good, but the turkey gobbler is BEST!

My kids are OBSESSED with the cannolis from Scalafani's. Nachos/enchiladas at Lupitas then cannolis from here makes happy children.

serendipity! Drove into town one morning on the way to the Hopper exhibition at the Cape Ann museum. Searching for food and a bathroom (not necessarily in that order) we landed at Sclaffani. What a treat! After a discussion, we decided on a Napoletano. Generous serving of prosciutto di Parma, mozzarella, roasted sweet peppers and balsamic glaze on a freshly baked foot-long roll. Heaven on a plate! Between us, we ate the whole thing then picked up pistachio cookies on our way out. All very reasonable. And the nicest people. Wish we could import them to our home town! People would show up in droves. Don't miss this great shop!

Stopped by to get a tuna salad sandwich before going to Good Harbor beach (only 8 mins away). It was soooo good! The bread was amazing, and they put a generous amount of tuna salad, it’s overflowing (and so tasty!!). Love it - 10/10. Will definitely come back!

The food is always great. I was concerned when it sold, but the new owners bring the same excellence that the original owners did. I drive to Gloucester to only come here and it's definitely worth the trip.

Nice place overall, but sandwiches weren’t that great.Chicken one was a bit dry and plain. The one with Mozzarella was decent, nothing special.Crab meat sub was pretty good, but too much mayo. And no rest room, btw

Ordered meatballs for a party. Delicious!! One of the guests came by in the morning to see if there were any leftovers. Said he was dreaming about getting more meatballs. Staff was super friendly too!
