Perfect place when you want a well prepared meal and a beverage of choice. Excellent burger and the grilled meat loaf can serve two. Top notch friendly and attentive servers. Didn’t even mind all the Celtics fans.

A sleeper restaurant. Always consistently good. Try the clam chowder if they have it. Old school thin broth with a ton of flavor.

RACIST WAITRESS ALERT ?Awesome restaurant that I have been going to for so many years in town, good food awesome servers and amazing vibe. I turned strangers to friends over the years, loved the waitress we normally get and would tip 20%+ everytime.until I met this Brandy lady who’s expertise area is - instead of customer service- is racial discriminationSome fun Friday story to amuse you:She was so nice and sweet to the rest of my table which makes the racism so obvious. She would cut me off when I’m talking, she said and I quote: “oh you should’ve got your sauce with your order but you didn’t but now you did so it’s fine” with her eyes rolling a little bit(pretty funny lol)Before I leave I decided to ask her if I did anything to offend her, she said, oh no, with her face all squished together, I’m sorry you feel I’m rude. With couple of small businesses closing their doors in the past few years in town, I appreciate the existence of the pub. But Toxic and racist people ruins the local business, and gives our city a bad name.Stone’s deserves better ❤️

The worst nachos with chili I have ever had. Very bland taste, cheese sauce didn’t taste like cheese, chili and chips flavorless. Waitress did not listen to what we wanted. The place was cold and drafty.

Be aware that the kitchen closes well before the pub does.

A fine stop in Gloucester. Small homey pub with a friendly staff. The clam chowder was good, otherwise food and beer selection were just alright.

The staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the burgers, which were cooked to our desired temperatures (medium & well done) without issue. Thank

What an awesome gem I happened to be staying right down the street from. I went to Boston to visit family and to get out of Texas for a bit to enjoy some vacation time. It was a last-minute trip and found this little town an hour away from Boston. This place was walking distance right down main street from my airbnb. This place felt pretty welcoming and had a great list of different items on their menu. I was disappointed to find they didn't have their lobster roll anymore, but ended up going with their BLT and fries accompanied with a nice cold beer. Great first night getting settled in. Highly recommended. Great staff and very friendly.

A gem in the middle of downtown. The bar and tables were full and the whole place was bustling. We had to try the cheese dip and we weren't disappointed. A must try! Our waitress was friendly, helpful, and attentive. We ordered the Ruben and the meatloaf sandwich-both with sweet potato fries. Portions were big and prices were very reasonable. We grabbed dessert to go and that didn't disappoint either. Don't pass up this local spot!

I will definitely come back if I am in the area again. It's a small but cozy place with great service and good drinks. The bartender was very attentive without being intrusive. There are great vegetarian options, which I really appreciate. I got a portobello mushroom Reuben sandwich, which is a unique veggie option, and I enjoyed it! My girlfriend got a medium rare burger and it was cooked perfectly! There is one gender neutral bathroom, which I also appreciate. What a solid place all around!
