Excitingly I sent a duo to myself as well as another for a gift. Made a cup of tea and opened my (extra small) Cupcake in a Jar (the packaging was nice) and felt nothing but disappointed. Dry. Crummy. Extra heavy and strangely sweet. Can't even eat it... and after reading the mile long unhealthy ingredients on the label I can see why. Save your money, health and make your own. These are box mixes. Awful. Don't know how they stay in business. Shame on Kevin O'Leary!

Worst customer service experience. Do not order if you want something delivered on time.

I sent two of these to my son for his birthday. One was really sweet and the other was really bland. Disappointed.

BEWARE when ordering. Really sad first ordering experience with what I was super excited for; not so much anymore. Order placed on Saturday morning and with NO options to alter/cancel after submitted and No-one to talk to, the email I sent to correct was sent was not enough to get the order corrected. Spending $200+ for cupcakes for friends will not be the enjoyable BD experience I wanted. Excitement to a bust. = (WGC's really needs to have an option to cancel an order after placed to either revise or just not have if situations change. Pretty disappointing!!!

Wicked disappointment, planned and ordered ahead and didn’t receive in time for my holiday party - they took barely any accountability either, too many other good options to chance using them.

Was delivered by ground to Arizona in 115 heat. Sent email indicating frosting was liquefied, put in in fridge, less than 24 hours later the chocolate cupcake tasted like mold. I informed them of this. I wanted nothing in return(chocolate companies do not shop to AZ in the summer). The response was this was ordered via Hickory Farms please reach out to them. This tells me they do not care about their quality only quantity. Funny thing is they probably got their start up money on quality..

A clever and delicious option for gifts. The cupcakes arrived on the date requested.

Wickedly Disappointing Cupcakes (and disgustingly dry!)My MIL sent a two-pack as a surprise treat, which we received yesterday. I had seen these somewhere online, and thought it would be fun to try someday, so I was jazzed these unexpectedly appeared on my doorstep. Based on the thought that went into the packaging, I thought we were in for a spectacular treat…(spoiler: complete opposite!).I tried the key lime one. The “cake” portion consists of literal crumbs in a layer that are so stale, they seem either freezer burned or like they’re the days old leftover shavings from leveling a real cake. The filling layer had good flavor but was far too thin to compensate for the chokingly dry crumb layer that made up the bulk of the jar. Finally, there’s a blob of way too sweet and too thick frosting on the top of the dry crumb in the jar (all sticking to the lid), which in terms of consistency and oily mouth feel is a close cousin to nasty store bought frosting in a can.I don’t know if I received a old batch or what, but there is no way I would purchase these for someone else after having tried one, and would not spend even 50 cents on what we were given. With $5 shipping, the cost works out to a whopping $14 per cupcake (before tax) to ship per their site.I’m sad that such an enormous carbon footprint proportionate to the volume or frivolousness of what was sent was truly a waste, as the product is not worth it even in terms of a food experience for the resources it is packaged in. I don’t know how this company manages to stay in business if this is the product they are putting out.Afterward, I read some online reviews for a couple of minutes to see if maybe what we were given was an aberration. Nope! One woman described the cake as similar to “eating dirt,” sounds peculiar but it’s actually quite spot-on for what I was given! Several other reviews commented on the frosting being chokingly thick and sweet, so it’s not just my palate. One other review said store bought cupcakes are better, and it’s one hundred percent true (no contest). Support your local bakery instead.

Disappointed with the customer service. They screwed up our order. Sent it out late and then the cupcakes were not great. The frosting completely separated from the cake. Will not order again…

After I saw Yelp friend Denyce M.'s review, first of all, I just knew by seeing the name of the place that it had to be in MA---and I was right :D Then I thought to myself, "I have to try this". But first, we arranged to send some cupcakes to my grandkids and the family. I have to say the gift ordering was painless! In fact, I wish more companies made it this easy. It was a matter of giving the company an email address of the recipient, then paying for the gift. What the company then does is send an email to the recipient then tell them to pick which flavors they want plus when they want the package to get there. Plus, supply their address. We had let our son-in-law know that the email was on the way and he quickly pounced on it. The package came when they wanted it to come. I asked for feedback and they all really liked the cupcakes. Okay...good. Now, we'll order some for ourselves. We each got 2 apiece. I chose 1 birthday cake and one salted caramel. My husband chose 1 key lime and 1 whole lotta lemon. The cupcakes are sent overnight. If we wanted them on ice, that was an extra $15 but since summer wasn't here yet, we didn't get the ice. The cupcakes held up well. As for the flavors---the birthday cake was well flavored and moist. However, for me anyway, eating it in one sitting would have been too much. I put the leftovers in the fridge and ate them the next day. The salted caramel was a let down as I tasted no salt. At least, it wasn't overly sweet. My husband found the key lime to not have much flavoring. He didn't taste any lime until he got near the bottom. Also, he wished the lemon one had more flavor. While these cupcakes are pricey, remember that the shipping and handling is built into the price. The mother and daughter who founded the company appeared on Shark Tank. Kevin O'Leary (aka "Mr. Wonderful") bought into their company and gets 40 cents per cupcake sold. Their main office is in Hanover, MA but they opened up a spot in the Quincy Market in Boston. Kevin O'Leary was there to sell the 1 millionth cupcake. Here is a short video of the event: Would we order from them again? Yes, we're willing to give them another try. And, yes, we will send them as gifts to others again. They are quite unique and I'm curious to try some other flavors.

Expensive but the cupcakes are amazing!

This is a review for a delivery that was sent to me today for my birthday from my manager. I was not expecting the package and had no idea what was. Upon opening the box, to my surprise I discovered two small mason jars, very cute in appearance, filled with cupcakes. The packaging was very well done and the cupcakes shipped out in perfect condition, so I would recommend purchasing these as a gift to ship someone. The jars were packed in the box in individual cubby holes to prevent them from moving around during shipping. Not that there was much of a chance of that, that cake is stuffed into that jar, so there is not that much wiggle room in the jar for the cake to move around (win win if you ask me since there is more to eat). There was also a note from my manager with birthday wishes as well as a card from the business. I had no idea who the business was, but love the concept. I saw that the owners, Tracey Noonan and Danielle Vilagie, had been on Shark Tank and actually have a brick and mortar store at 342A Circuit St. Hanover, MA. The concept is a good one....definitely cuts down on messy frosting getting all over the place. And I love that there was more cake than frosting. I am that person that usually takes the bulk of the frosting off a cupcake before eating it. The way the ladies have set these up, there is frosting on the top of cake in the jar, but it was not overwhelming for me. My manager got two flavors for me: Cupid's Vanilla Confetti and Dark Chocolate White Chocolate Raspberry. I can only speak to the Vanilla one as I don't do raspberry (The Doctor and Queen will eat that one). But what I will say is that the Vanilla one was delish. The cake was very moist and the frosting was not overly sweet. I thought there was just right balance of cake and frosting in the jar overall. I checked out the website and saw some chocolate ones I would definitely want to order, so I think I will placing an order to try those. The Chocolate Lab jar sounds very good (chocolate cake with a chocolate ganache center, chocolate buttercream frosting) and so does the Chocolate Birthday cake one as well. Wicked Good Cupcakes offers several different boxes (birthday and "Thinking of You"). For the Thinking of You Box, you can choose between a 2, 4 or 6 pack that includes an Original Pura Vida bracelet. Each month they choose a different charity to receive $1.00 from each "Thinking of You" box sale. The box will also include a card signed by Tracey and Dani to let the receiver know that a donation was made. The Birthday Box has cupcake or pie jars, candles, assorted party favors and a special "Happy Birthday" greeting inside the box lid. Because these cupcakes are fresh, there is an expiration date of 7 days in which to eat them. Or you have the option of freezing them as well, but honestly I don't see that happening cause mine got eaten right away. So good luck with trying to freeze them if you order them. Ground shipping is only available for delivery dates and locations to which we can ship a package within 3 calendar days. Packages larger than a 2 packs that cannot arrive within 3 calendar days via UPS Ground can ship via UPS 3 Day Select Expedited shipping for a flat rate of $5.00. This was a nice discovery and so unexpected. While my manager hit the mark 50% on selection, this was 100% a great find.

Wow- beyond expectation! I received these as a birthday gift. A certain amount of cupcakes are purchased, and the intended recipient (me) receives a link. I received a gift of 4. Select 4 cupcakes and a delivery date, and viola! So far I've inhaled the Sea Salted Caramel. I don't even know which one to eat next. What a fantastic product. I will def be sending these to friends & family.

These were gifted to me, and I am currently trying cookies n cream. I think it is delicious and moist. I love that they come in jars!

I received these for my birthday and they were NOT wicked good! My son paid $76 for a half dozen small, dry cupcakes that were nothing special. I do not recommend this product.
