“Perhaps one of the cleanest, most quaint places I’ve been in recent history. Food was amazing and well priced I had the BLT my son had the blue cheese hamburger both were out of this world. Bread was fresh bread was quality. Food was quality best BLT of ever had. I highly recommend this place in surprise that it only got 4.5 in the ratings. It’s a solid 5 Star Pl. It is limited to breakfast and lunch however which is too bad because I’m sure it could do very well as a dinner establishment. Here it’s fantastic!“

We were more than okay with doing so, especially considering their cute waiting area with coffee available! “The first day open for the spring season. I would have not known if I were not informed as it felt like it was always open. Every body was very friendly, food was served fast and it was just as described. “Our group of 4 visited the Scargo Cafe as newcomers, and the experience was even better than we had heard! First off, the Cape in early-March is practically shutdown for the winter, so finding an open restaurant is a challenge in itself. But not only was Scargo Cafe open, it was a quite filled with customers. Nonetheless, the service was prompt, friendly and experienced. Drinks orders were taken within a couple minutes and delivered soon thereafter (nice selection of wines and draft beers!). The menu had a wide diversity of choices, quite impressive. We ordered the special beef stir fry, grilled swordfish with rice/asparagus, and shrimp asian salad (w/ almonds+cranberries). Topped off by grape-nut custard (a house specialty). Everything was excellent and filling. Will certainly return when back to the Cape.“

“Pizza was good but not great.Had the pie with artichokes. The pieces of artichokes were tiny and they were just the leaves not the hearts. So you got a little of the taste of artichokes in it but none of the texture. It was like they added artichoke flavoring.“

The blue cheese wedge salad was really fantastic $17? I forget. But it was definitely filling with the soup and rolls (excellent rolls), and plenty for my dinner. My husband had the steak with frites with a salad on the plate also. He enjoyed it and they made it just the way he likes it. That was about $19? So we chose the least expensive selections. I decided to have the crème brûlée for dessert $10. It was an ample size with whipped cream ( or crème fraiche?) on top and berries. But all the other entrees were considerably more. However the place was busy with other diners. This was our first visit. We probably won't return but it's definitely worth a try!“

It's fun standing in line for a cute pie shop down the cape (it kindve gave me high school rom com feel good tv shows in a beach town type energy doing this) but parking is limited so make sure you get in on time! By the time we got our breakfast pastries and headed out, the line outside was nearly doubled. And that's in the span of 5-10 minutes! Wild. Be sure to time it right! We ordered a box full of different breakfast pastries-- raspberry turnovers, croissants, and their cinnamon nut orange rolls which are all the rave on Yelp. All were good but I'll need to get a pie next time!“

“Delicious burritos with a nice selection to choose from, or you can customize a made fresh to order option of your choice.I ordered the large sized Buffalo-Ranch chicken burrito, which was massive in size, and the ingredients tasted very fresh. They have a small selection of desserts, too. The Bailey's Whoopie in particular caught my eye esthetically. It was such a cute and a tasty treat. It's unfortunate that the prices are so high. Otherwise, I'd come here more often for the good product and friendly service.“
