This spot serves up the best pho in town! Top-notch service, inviting atmosphere, and delicious drinks make it a must-visit.

First impressions were good--the pho here is pretty good, maybe a step below the level of Methuen's Spring Restaurant but it's a welcome addition to downtown Haverhill. And they are friendly.

This establishment is far from friendly, The service was horrendous and we got yelled at by an employee that was drinking on the job you could see her drinking on the job and her breath smelled like booze and she yelled at us because we asked a simple question on the bill, The restaurant up charges and doesn’t tell you this on the menu and when you ask when you order they tell you no up charge but you receive one anyway. When you order a shrimp dish and the menu states the dish had shrimp balls and shrimp you expect shrimp balls and shrimp not just one shrimp in the whole dish then are told that the one shrimp is a garnish and actually the dish usually just has half of one shrimp in the dish that was the waitress’s response and the rest of the dish is four shrimp balls. Then the waitress lies to cover her mistake and another waitress yells at the customer about it, I can afford the upcharge of a few dollars just tell me when you order and dont advertise the dish as having multiple shrimp and shrimp balls. It was sneaky. My dish had just noodles and one slice of onion and three small pieces of meat you would feed a little dog in it and nothing else, for sixteen dollars I expect a little more, Such a rip off! It was mostly ? Plus the glasses were chipped and the restaurant was super dirty and gross. The bathroom was the worst. Dried pee on the toilet and on the floor you could see that the stains had been there for a while and there was graffiti all over the mirror plus no soap in the bathroom. nasty! You could see the caked on dust on the walls and on the picture frames in the hallway, the light fixtures had dust all over them and they look like they haven’t been cleaned in a long time ! Let’s see how long this place stays open. It was really that awful! This is coming from someone who’s been going out to eat at least three times a week for forty five years ?????? go to any other dining establishment. Awful. ? this place made me beyond depressed ??

If you like Pho, ever have Pho, or been to a restaurant before, I promise you that will not enjoy your experience. I ordered a Pho with 2 types of meat and yet there was only a single, small, half piece of meat covered in fat. The rice noodles was a single clump of noodles that took an effort to separate. The broth was very bland.Wife didn't get served her appetizer, nor her meal, until after my son and I received our main course. Her appetizer, was literally an uncooked vegetable with spice. Her main course, almost 20 bucks for a salad the size if a Wendy's side salad. The restaurant decor looks like a dollar store threw up all over the place.$100 for 2 adults, 1 teen is ridiculous. If you want to get so drunk you don't care about what your eating, what it tastes like, and how much it costs, while being ignored this is the place for you.

Ate here about a month or two ago as a group of 6 friends(3 couples) some sharing dishes. Everyone on staff was very friendly but just seemed utterly incompetent in the restaurant business. One couple told the waitress they ate only vegetarian and fish and ordered the vermicelli noodles with shrimp. The dishes were delivered with so much time in between that one couple was completely done eating before the next arrived. The shrimp dish when it finally came to the table had a pile of beef on it. One person ordered chicken fried rice and his meal came long after everyone was done eating and it was steamed white rice with sautéed chicken and a piece of iceberg lettuce and tomato on the side. So strange. The waitress never acknowledged the problem with the meals nor the very awkward timing. Like another reviewer said, they seem very inexperienced. Some of the food was good. Some was meh. I share this post in the spirit of helping them improve. I really love Vietnamese food and want them to succeed. I plan to try them again some day and will hope for a better experience.

Was so excited to see a new pho place open up in haverhill, i love me some pho. But was highly disappointed when i tasted the pho, it was very bland, very oily and noodles seemed like they were shredded into pieces! Definitely don't recommend, just save your time/money and go to Spring Restaurant in Methuen!

The mouth watering smell of delicious, homemade food hits you immediately upon entering. Must trie’s are the Devine Salad, Momma’s egg rolls and the vegetable pho. The food is fantastic and very fresh. And the drinks are equally satisfying. Friendly House of Pho is a wonderful new addition to the Haverhill downtown area.

Excellent food, supremely kind staff, and homey, fun digs. Can’t recommend Friendly House of Pho highly enough. Walked in right at close, after having worked all day. The staff saw how beat I was and took pity on me and whipped up some delicious food. Beyond that initial kindness, they prepared hearty and succulent beef skewers, crispy fresh spring rolls, and flavor and texture popping Divine Salad with shredded chicken, mint, and peanuts. It was everything I could have wished for and more. Fresh, flavorful, exciting, and filling. We intended to just do take out, but they kindly allowed us to stay around and eat in. They even offered to grab us drinks! The vibes are warm and jovial. A little tv playing on the background, folks catching up and teasing each other. It felt like a friend’s kickback in the best way possible. Give these folks your business and some love. I’ll be coming back.

First off, I want to say everyone was super friendly. We walked in and there were only two booths taken, but we decided to sit at the bar, which is where we usually sit. We ordered the spring rolls as an appetizer, and they were ok. Ordered a couple of drinks, and they were great. We ordered a medley of appetizers for our dinner along with a rice dish. Upon serving these dishes for our"dinner" we were not given plates, just our appetizer plates and a fork, no knife. Our rice tasted like smoke, the boneless ribs were VERY greasy, and the crab Rangoon filling was oozy? (Don’t know how else to describe them) The atmosphere behind the bar was bizarre. One of the girls kept rearranging the toothpick holder, the orange juice, everything. I could tell she was new and I'm not bashing her because she was very nice. Also, another server was wearing a Grey sweatshirt and black sweatpants? I'm not sure, maybe they'll get better, but I'm not impressed at all.

I placed my first delivery order tonight and WOW! My order arrived fantastically packaged and everything was super high quality and tasty. Totally exceeded my expectations and will certainly be ordering again. I am feeling under the weather and the chicken soup bowl that I ordered hit the spot! A+

I would add a crappy review, but I have read others and based on the location...This business won't last. The owner is particularly rude and acts entitled. It's only fitting she gets what she deserves.
