WOWThe garlic bread was out of this world!I personally only drink one type of alcohol and I always order a tequila sunrise and this is by far the best tequila sunrise I've ever had. I got lobster ravioli it had a lemon sauce on it and holy hera ! So fresh and delicious. Hubby got the duck. Crisp moist and absolutely superb.Restaurant is small but the food made up for it. Our server was young had a smile and great attitude. I will be going back ! Almost forgot about the creme brulee ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUSI got a Cesar to go..... Homemade bread crumbssssssParking: Parking sucks downtown Haverhill but there's places. Just gotta find them lol

The oroblem with this restaurant is the exhaust system - it is always unbelievably smokey and you leave smelling like an old gril. Dont bother showering before you go. The food was great in Haverhill location as was the staff but the exhaust issue is the negative for me. Its too bad as I was happy yhey moved snd thought that would fix it.

My wife and I have been going to Joseph’s for 20 years and it is by far our favorite restaurant in the area. We’ve visited Italy six times and one of our favorite things to do there is dining out. We’ve had dozens of excellent meals in Italy and we would put Joseph’s right up there with some our favorites in Italy. The original location will always have a special place in our hearts, but the new downtown location has a great atmosphere and the same amazing food.

Best Italian food I've had in a long time. The complimentary bread came out freshly baked and steaming hot, and the olive oil and spread were delicious. We got the fonduta for the appetizer, which was a hit. Who doesn't love melty cheese and crusty bread!? Our table had the lobster ravioli, butternut squash ravioli, and short rib pasta. All pasta was homemade, and the servings were surprisingly large. The lobster ravioli had a lemon cream sauce, which really made the dish. My mom orders the butternut squash ravioli any time she sees it on a menu, and said this was the best she ever had. My toddler even loved sharing the short rib pasta with me. The inside had a large bar, so it was noisy enough I wasn't worried about my toddlers volume. Our server was kind enough to bring her water in a plastic cup with a lid and straw. The only "negative" was that the service was rather slow. It took a while, and us actually going into the restaurant asking if we could sit for us to find a hostess and be seated. Our food also took a while to come out. But I couldn't even take a star away from that because the food was worth the wait, and our server did a good job. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely return.
Service was amazing, the makeover in the new downtown building is fantastic.... And let's talk about the ravioli Zucca....OUT OF THIS WORLD, AMAZING!!!! We will definitely be heading back soon! Great setting for a date night or family dinner! Not stuffy at all but amazing service and class!

Valentine's Day capped off with dinner at Joseph's. We both had the ravioli which was amazing. The service was great and the drinks were also very good. We will be back!

I've been eyeing this location for weeks and finally have it whirl. It was all I had envisioned! Great atmosphere, excellent food and the wait staff and Hostesses were very friendly and professional. We did run into some menu challenges though. We had later dining reservations in the evening and certain items on the menu were sold out. Just means they are probably bringing in only what they anticipate needing for that day so items don't go stale. Overall well worth the visit!
Extremely limited parking that has poor lighting. Good food and service. My husband's LI Iced Tea was lacking in

Unhappy with the seating, the table was rocking and spinning. Asked to be switched to a booth and was told no. Small crab cake appetizer, mediocre at best $25 for one. That seems a bit exorbitant to me. All in all it was a disappointing birthday dinner.

this evening we had dinner at Joseph's Downtown and though we've been to the original Joseph's many times and had good experiences, tonight was unacceptable. Though the appetizers and drinks we had were good, the service was atrocious. After an hour and a half of waiting for our entrees, we paid for what we ate and left. Nobody seemed to care. Sadly, we will not go back.

It was our first time trying the Haverhill location. The restaurant was very attractive, warm and inviting. Server was very nice & attentive even though it was a busy night the day after Valentines. The crab cake special was good and my husband greatly enjoyed the Eggplant Parmesan with the added sausage, my dinner is where I struggle with the value. I ordered the Halibut special, it was good and I received a nicely prepared piece of halibut but was very surprised when we received our bill and the special was priced at $64.00. We were not informed of the price, nor did I ask but I thought it was pricey and would have hesitated ordering it at that price especially as the rest of the menu is priced well.

Excellent classic Italian food, attentive service and a romantic atmosphere. Good cocktail and wine options as well as deserts - and the homemade bread is wonderful.
The whole experience was awesome from start to finish. Highly recommend a visit.
