I got this last night and have been going here for years. I understand the need to increase prices but if you are going to do that then your portion size should stay the same- one or the other. I paid $32+ for 2 open face sandwiches which looked like they should be on the kids menu. We asked for gravy on all but got a tiny bit on top of the turkey which is to their detriment since the food is just cold and dry without it. We picked this up, I'd be interested to see if you were there watching them put it together if you would get a proper meal worth the money.I'm going to miss this place, I live a mile from it and the food is always good BUT... WHAT A RIP OFF!!

What happened? Tonight I got the three piece chicken dinner to go with a double steamed vegetable. The vegetables were very brownish looking and wilted, tasted horrible, the chicken was overcooked and dry it didn't look the same as previous visits. Definitely not the same batter I'm used to. p.s. the two boys taking orders were extremely polite and very customer service friendly. No issues with any of the staff all are very friendly and cordial. But please fix the food issues I like this place it's a weekly stop for me.2/27/24I went back tonight and had chicken & ribs. The chicken was much better, the ribs were OUT OF THIS WORLD GOOD and plenty of them. The mashed was good, the green beans were wilted but ok. They have a high turnover of employees never the same people working there they are all high school kids but very nice, courteous, and professional. I'll be back.

Maybe they had an off day but the food was not good at all, I am not a picky eater but most of the fried chicken and ribs got tossed in the trash. The chicken was dry, rubbery and the skin was like leather. seemed to have been left out for days. The ribs were dry and again, left out for days before being served. This is the worst food I can ever remember eating. Wish I never stopped here; the empty parking lot at 4pm should have been a dead give away. The potato salad and cole slaw was very good and prices were fine but not reason enough to stop here.

Place was clean. Service and food was average. Chicken was cooked well and moist but didn’t have a lot of flavor. Potatoes were bland. Squash was good. I will try them again to see if consistent with this review.

If the food was warm, I could see it being good but don't expect that to be the case. The service is horrendous. I should have expected it after the first experience picking up a catered order and having to wait an hour at that time. Now a second attempt having called in an order for a family of 3 was no better. It took multiple attempts to call after being placed on hold and then hung up on a few times. I should have known at that point this was going to be a bad idea. Gave them the benefit of the doubt; maybe they are just very busy. When we did finally place the order, we were told 15-20 minutes. Ok maybe they aren't so busy then, so I arrived within that window. I told the high school aged children at the counter I was there for my pickup order, proceeded to pay and waited patienty for my order. Meanwhile much of the staff is standing around. There weren't many patrons in the restaurant so they certainty didn't seem very busy. Another half hour passes as I stand nearby. Now this just seems ridiculous. At this point I tell the staff at the counter how long I've been waiting and having placed my order over an hour ago. Low and behold the food has been sitting in the warmer the entire time! BTW the warmer doesn't keep the food warm. I get home to find out some of the order is incorrect and a few items missing. We call and speak with a "manager" but likely just one of the high school aged individuals. They supposedly are refunding the missing items, but no consideration for their poor service resulting in cold food. Needless to say, take your hard earned money elsewhere. I'm truly shocked how long this place has remained in business!

Once I made it to the counter it was clear things weren't in order. the menu wasn't loading and had no inclinations of what was included in certain meal options. there was no one over 20 on site which is odd as there should be a manager managering yah know. anyways the rice was overcooked and ruined we weren't asked if we were dining in and it affected the dining experience negatively . chicken was fire though go to plaistow instead .

Went here tonight got a BBQ chicken sandwich. I assumed it would have BBQ sauce but nope totally dry something hard was in it took it out of my mouth was a decent size bone. Becareful eating
