I've been to Burtons many times over the years, and this time I thought I'd leave a review. The food was really good quality, with decent portions. And the service was great too!

We had dinner last night and Christina was an excellent waitress, she is very pleasant and a hard worker. We would love to have her be our waitress again. And our dinner was excellent had the burger and the haddock as usual which is out standing. Best burger. Max with onion rings. Always good. Nice service, best quality. Always accurate and great kids menu.

We really like this place and their food. They are careful about allergies. I enjoy their General Tso Cauliflower, amazing Firecracker Shrimp, and delicious Salmon Romesco. The Chicken Cordon Bleu was okay, but I wish it had some sauce because it was a bit dry. Overall, it's always a great place to get great food.

I've always liked their fish sandwich. You've got to ask for extra tartar sauce on the side! For some reason it never has enough ! My wife gets the California chicken sandwich and loves it! This place is always good for your money. Nothings worse than spending money and not being satisfied these days.

Wow. So this place was extremely packed when we went on a Saturday afternoon. The wait was 45 minutes, and I must say I complained , but immediately regretted it when we finally sat down to have lunch. Omg the food was absolutely delicious. From the appetizers to the meal itself. Alexis our waitress was fabulous, she was amazing. Forgive me for my impatience, the wait was so worth it. Can't wait to come again.

We dined at Burton's Bar and Grill on Sunday afternoon. The food was amazing. We had two appetizers; the steak and cheese egg rolls and spinach dip. Both we hot, fresh, and delicious. The Blueberry Hibiscus Lemonade was so flavorful and not too sweet. Our server Alexis M. was intuitive and on the ball. My water glass was never empty, and when she was away, she would anticipate my needs, even without me asking. We both had the crispy fish sandwich and chips. I had my order as it was listed on the menu, topped with pickle chips, pickled red onion, and tartar sauce on a toasted, buttery, brioche bun. From beginning to end, our time at the restaurant was worth the cost. We will return to the Hingham location and request Alexis if possible.
One of my top favorite restaurants on the South Shore. Appetizers and mains are delicious, drinks are great, atmosphere is lively yet casual, and service is always excellent! My personal favorites are the cheesesteak springrolls, firecracker shrimp, and is the southwest chicken salad. Highly recommend!Parking: There are many parking spots here, however on busy weekend days the Derby St lots can get fairly crowded. Have had to wait for a space but always got one pretty close by.
The aged ribeye steak was amazing and very flavorful, but that was about it. The service was horrible and substandard due to poor ratio of waiters to customers. The waiter at dinner was not knowledgeable about food (like aged steak being dry aged or not). The restaurant lied on menu about crab cakes being lump when it was clearly a cheaper claw meat. We were also provided a bent fork with a twisted fork tine that could have caused a chipped tooth. The bar area and sports is too loud and the noise spills out into the sit down dining area. The non steak meal (chicken risotto) tasted it was thawed from being frozen and barely satisfactorily palatable, but unsatisfactory from a price point of a $27 meal. The salad tasted and looked cheap like it came from bagged salad.In summary, I would not recommend this place unless you are going for the aged ribeye.

Have always wanted to try Burtons and finally did with my 4 and 5 year old for a late lunch recently. Service was phenomenal and the food was excellent. I had the burger and it was one of the best burgers I have had in recent memory. Atmosphere is warm and comforting. Can’t wait to return with my whole family soon!

Won't be back. One positive... the General Tso Cauliflower app was very good. I ordered my steak fritte medium rare and steak was served way overcooked...most of steak was grey inside= well done and a little grey-pink in other areas= medium well-done. My wife had her fork cleared away and no one ever replaced fork with a new one with her entree. She decided to eat her short rib with my soup spoon. Was a good decision since it was another 10 min before we saw our waitress. I ordered a bottle of Stella Artois that was listed as $7 on the drink menu but they charged $9 on our bill! I can find a better place to spend my money.

We eat at burtons all the time (weekly) and love the food. But in the last two weeks they have screwed up 3 takeout orders. Items missing entirely each time; my husband is in there right now trying to get the missing items from our current order. Do not order takeout here. Each time the hostess is completely indifferent, does not do anything to try and mitigate the bad experience. Terrible customer service. Bye burtons!
