We love the food. The waitstaff is excellent. However the noise level makes comfortable conversation impossible. The place was full and people were practically yelling to be heard over sports on the tv and loud music as well. If we ever eat there again it will be only for lunch.

My very first time at a Legal Seafood, it was a great experience & very tasty food. Waitress Danielle served us and she was a delight & attentive. Would come back strictly for service!

Long time customer. I always book ahead and when I arrived early was told my table would be cleaned. Waited 10 minutes and asked for an update, and was told sorry she has no update. That's fine, I was early, but multiple people walked in (with same group # as us) and were seated. Even a walk in couple was sat at a table for 4 before us after waiting 20 minutes total. We felt very undervalued as we come here often.

Bartender was GREAT! Food was very good. Wedge salad with salmon bacon was shockingly delicious. The lights were a little bright and sounded cafeteria like at times but overall good experience.

Food was extremely bland, service was fine. The remodel looks nice but the chairs are awkward to sit in. I had the Ahi Tuna dish with rice/broccoli - the rice had no flavor, the broccoli was undercooked and the tuna was tough without any seasoning. I had to salt it to make it edible and even so, I could only eat about half. We paid $90 for myself and two kids without any alcohol, so I would not recommend unless you're just going for a cup of chowder.

The tuna steak was cooked to order, a medium rare, but it would have been perfect if it had been grilled. The side of asparagus was grilled to perfection and tender! Overally, the food is very good, and with the new makeover in Hingham, the restaurant is a comfortable, modern and brighter atmosphere. I find myself making reservations more and more!!
Excellent
My husbands linguini with clam sauce was cold. It took forever to get drinks and the food. My “seasonal vegetables” were 90% little potatoes and a few stray pieces of cauliflower. The renovations of the place look good, but we were very disappointed in the food. Our waitress was pleasant enough it took forever, and he actually think we will try to find another seafood place to eat at going forward.

We are frequent diners at LSF in Hingham. Unfortunately this time the location was understaffed and service suffered. Our waiter had to apologize multiple times as our bar drinks were not made quickly or as requested. Our waiter was new, frustrated and could have used some support from onsite management.
Love this for the newly expanded gluten-free options. They are not just an afterthought. They are very sensitive to the needs of gluten intolerant diners and offer close to everything on the menu gluten free. It makes it so much more enjoyable and relaxing to know my gluten sensitive friends don't have to select from a very limited menu or worry about being sick for the subsequent 24 hours after being exposed to gluten. Thank you for considering the needs of these customers!

The promotion: buy 2 lobsters for the price of 1 was a great deal, and the lobster was tender and delicious! The alternative sides offered were great, although the side of rice was plain and dry. A couple misses: 1.) one order came out with french fries that were not ordered, which was rectified, and 2.) The waitress had to be asked to check with the kitchen on sauces, because it was evident she didn't know, named tabasco as a sauce (for the rice), and stood befuddled. Overall, good dining.

We were a party of 4 who had dinner on Friday, January 19. While I have seen a number of poor reviews, we still wanted to try it….we use to go to the C but this was our 1st time at the renovated Legals. We fount everything to be very good. The experience was excellent. We were seated immediately and our drink orders were taken soon after we were seated. We ordered 4 different entrees and they were all excellent. The deserts were also excellent. It was a bit noisy but we were in a both and it didn’t really bother us.Our waitress, Kelce, was very pleasant and attentive throughout the entire meal.We will all definitely return! ?
