PERFECT neighborhood spot. We are lucky enough to be able to walk. Great local beer. Consistent menu that hits everything you could want. I could live on ranch water and tazon bowls ?

Good not very good or authentic. Service was good. Ambience for bar and drinks was as expected for local place. Apps and again food left room to be desired.

Too pricey for a couple of tacos not a fan ! Chicken came in chunks like it was mass produced ? no bueno

It was very busy at 5pm on a Friday. We were able to get a table quickly. Small clean space. Limited menu but everything was delicious. We had a good waitress. Drinks we tasty. I would go again. Nachos were the favorite. We had leftovers of everything. Good the next day. You should sell your homemade salsa/hot sauces.

Locales is one of our go to places. My kid loves getting a cheese quesadilla, my wife and I love the chips and the food. Overall, a great place to stop for a drink, and/or for dinner.

Quaint little place set back off the road, so you could quite easily drive right by and never see it. Neat concept. Tequila sampling. Great service. Food was....meh... I'd go back, though. It's a bar, expect bar food. I recommend this establishment.

Love this place, favorite spot to go on an early Sunday afternoon. They make some of the best margaritas and food around. I highly recommend the nachos. Staff is always so friendly and welcoming.

Tacos are really very good. Guac is great also. Queso is a little thin but very tasty. Lost a star for the short bread cardboard sticks they are passing off as churros which are a true abomination. Very glad to see nearly everything is gluten free.

Most American cantina I've ever been to! Staff is meh. Food is pretty good. When you ask for water, you get warm trap water that tastes like it was sitting in a water gun in the sun. Waitress was annoying, visited too many times. Their supposed Hottest sauce was not even close to hot! And waitress warned like it was gonna melt my face!!! If you like stuck up white people serving Mexican food in a beach house setting, playing music that matches neither the food or the atmosphere, go there!

Food is good, but the service is you. Went on a Friday. Inside was busy and very loud, so we opted for the patio. No table service out there for some reason (apparently standard policy), so we had to order inside. Got 2 margaritas, made in one shaker and only partially filled the glasses (for $12 each). Ordered chips and salsa, chips came out but no salsa, so had to go back inside for that. Food was brought out, but we had to flag down the kid for utensils. Fish tacos were good, but small for $9 each. My wife liked the Tazon bowl. Had to go back inside to order more drinks. And they put bins out for trash, recyclables and dishes so you can clean up your own table(!). I should've tipped me. If we go back (unlikely) it'll be take out only.
