Great place to grab a coffee if you don’t work for a living.

I never stop here because the traffic in this area is awful, and it’s really hard to make the turn in, but I tried it out when I was in the area today. The place was filled with people reading papers and chatting, or just enjoying the harbor view! The parking options directly in front are very slim, and, as mentioned, good luck turning into the lot, but if you make it, you will be greeted by quality coffee and MEM Tea (locally sourced).I don’t normally drink coffee, but I tried the Cardamom Vanilla Latte and it was yummy!I also had an egg and cheese. The egg was a patty, rather than an over easy or otherwise obviously single-cracked egg, so not sure if it was poured from a container or an actual egg, which was a minus for me. Also, as you can see, the patty was tiny and didn’t come close to covering the surface of the muffin.I was also dissatisfied that it didn’t come on a bagel! I didn’t realize bagel OR muffin were the options, I just glanced and saw “bagel,” and no one asked. Sadness. The muffin was tasty, and they had these roasted tomatos that I added to my egg and it was phenomenal!I did enjoy the taste of the macarons, but the wafers weren’t as thick and fluffy as I would like (I imagine these are frozen and thawed, which makes them as good as the ones you’d get at Whole Foods in those deep freezers, but not as good as fresh baked macarons from a bakery). They also had several unique cooler drinks! I’ve never seen these beverages before, and they were pretty tasty!Overall, excellent experience and I will be back :-)

Very expensive for a tiny Cafe LatteNo InternetMuffin is very good but stuck to the paper so you only get 20% to eat.During summer it would have great views.-4

Excellent spot for a well-made coffee. The roast is done locally, so the coffee is fresh. Importantly, the servers care about your experience and will take the time to explain the differences between a cortado and a latte. Yes, you can Google it, but they can demonstrate. Their pours are works of art. Wish I could sit and look out at the harbor while I enjoy their creations. Oh wait -- this place has that too!

I am a cappacino junky. Every chance I get, I buy one. and I mean every. chance. I travel for work, so I have had cappucinos all over the country, the UK, India, Japan, Canada, Qatar. I have never had a cappacino in my travels that compares to what I get at Red Eye Roasters. It is not just coffe with a pile of foam on top. It is foamy, creamy, coffee ecxtasy. If you ever have a chance to try it, DO NOT hesitate!

Best little local coffee shop in the south shore area- great coffee, tea and sandwiches. Only drawback is the wait can be pretty long on the weekends- this is not a place to grab a coffee in a hurry on the way to a soccer game, it's more of a sit and chat for a bit

Completely overrated. Coffee and treats are nothing special, especially for the price, and terrible customer service.

We may have visited on an off day but waited in line for 25 minutes, ordered 4 coffees and one pastry that totaled $30 with tip and very disappointed. Coffee v weak and seemed like the cream was subbed with skim milk and none of us finished our beverages. My daughter waited an additional 15 minutes for a pumpkin latte. Because we ordered takeout we were already on the road otherwise would have politely complained.

The coffee is very good, but the way the owner treats his customers is terrible! There are too many options out there for the owner not to be kind to his regulars. I will not be returning and will encourage friends and family to do the same.

While I live down the street from this coffee spot, I would drive far to get that cup of coffee anywhere! It is my daily go to spot in Boston frankly. The service is very consistent and the cup of coffee is always made fresh and delicious. In my opinion, this is some of the best coffee in the Boston area. The staff is kind and even my dog loves to visit! She gets very upset when I leave her occasionally in the car. Coffee lover too! The location is right on the water along Route 3A and makes for a great spot to stop and relax for a bit. One thing to remember a good cup of coffee takes time. So don't be in a rush or in drive through pace. It will be worth it!
