We were absolutely blown away by this establishment. The ambience, the service, the caliber of the food, we're all top-notch. We will absolutely be back. We live in Hingham but we didn't realize this place existed. It is honestly incredible. The food is very inventive and Versatile. White table cloths / fine dining, beautiful cathedral ceilings, great music. Friendly staff. Perfect lighting. Great for date night or family outing, can be casual or elevated. Whatever you prefer. We had the pork bun, the meatballs, and the swordfish and South and chicken. All were perfectly executed.

Pro: Food was outstanding. Con: they sat my boyfriend and I at a round table for 5 people even though it was just the two of us. We even had a reservation. It was a little noisy because of the large party of 10 or so were sitting within 2 feet of us. We asked to sit in the lounge instead of the dinning room and it was much quieter.

Excellent; the food, the service, the ambiance, everything! The restaurant itself is beautiful and perfect for date night, special occasions, etc. My girlfriends and I had our annual Christmas dinner here. We started with the meatballs, crab cakes and caesar salad. I can't decide which was my favorite as they were all fantastic! Crab cakes were much bigger than expected, meatballs were tender/flavorful and came with phenomenal toasted bread and that caesar salad was fresh/crisp as can be! For my entree, I ordered the hangar steak frites, medium-rare. The steak came out cooked correctly and the gorgonzola butter complimented it perfectly (and I usually don't even like gorgonzola!). The fries were just as delicious as the steak - I couldn't stop eating them! I would definitely recommend checking this place out if just for a drink and the ambiance alone as it's such a lovely restaurant :)

This restaurant is a go to for holiday parties! The private room is where were normally get together and it is always clean spacious and well decorated. The atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely all staff are so kind! The waitress that was in the private room with us was so sweet! The food is soo good, steak frites are top notch.
We visit every year for our annual Christmas company party and choose "The Blacksmith Room" – it's fantastic! The staff is courteous, the food is amazing, especially the gnocchi bolognese, which has become an annual tradition for me. Highly recommended!

Just left The Quarry after stopping in 12/1/23 at 4:00 for a late lunch, right when they open. We've been here before, several times, and like sitting at the bar corner. Tonight was simply awful. Ordered the hanger steak, medium. Menu says it comes with parmigiano fries. When it arrived, the fries were non-descript, frozen food-service type with nothing on them but salt. I asked the server if these were the truffle or parmesan fries advertised. She read the menu description to me, and said I could've upgraded if I wanted truffle fries. I said these are just plain, not what's described on the menu. She said well, do you like them? That's the question. I said it's not what you advertise on the menu, that's the point. These are plain. I guess I thought maybe she'd offer to get some parmigiano fries. Oh well. Cut a piece of the steak. It was rare, not medium. It was lukewarm; even the butter on it wasn't melting. I slid the plate to the edge of the bar. It was a while before she looked over and saw I wasn't eating it. My wife was halfway done with her bolognese. I told the server this isn't medium, and she looked and said, no, it is not. It was so rare it was easily evident at a quick glance. She asked if I wanted it redone, I said no, I'm finished. My wife asked for a box for hers. Then server asked if we'd like to see a dessert menu! Um, no, we'll take a check. I said, in case she hadn't noticed, we're very unhappy, and we're gonna go. We paid for our 2 drinks, salad, and one entree. We left. I know folks say you should speak up so the restaurant has a chance to fix it. Well, we did. Even though the server didn't seem to catch on, we let her know we were leaving early because we weren't happy with the food or service. I thought, for starters, she could've offered to get the correct fries, rather than suggesting I should've upgraded in order to get what was advertised. Second, another steak, with maybe a comped glass of wine for the inconvenience while I waited, might've been nice. But at the very least, let a manager know you have a couple walking out because food and service was not up to par. Nope. None of those happened. Fair enough. Message received. You don't care. We'll take our money elsewhere, and I'd suggest others do likewise.

This place is a favorite of mine and my wifes! The meatball app when they have it is awesome! The pork belly buns are incredible, and I always find myself craving the salmon over coconut rice! Carolyn is our favorite bartender who always gives the best suggestions, has awesome food timing, and makes a perfect cocktail! Go enjoy :)Dietary restrictions: Many gluten free options

You can’t get better than this from the atmosphere to the amazing food and the impeccable service from Ryan ~ just amazing!!! This is how all dining should be ~ all you other restaurants take note!!!! Wonderful filet, my man tried the swordfish for first time and said it was the best meal he’s ever had!! Yummy bread and oil, drinks made well!! Hopefully next time we have room to try dessert!! Nicely done guys keep up the good work!!!!
