It was our first time here. Food was mostly great, had started with oysters and shishito peppers, street corn and a salad. Buffalo cauliflower, the halibut and the seafood in broth. My only complaints about the food are the halibut was overcooked, but the flavor was good, just very dry and one of the oysters had something floating in it a little blob of something. My main complaints were service, took the server a long time to take our order. We had to go to the bar to get refills on water twice and I saw the server just texting on her phone at the end of the bar, never came back to ask how the food was. The hostess dropped off the food so there was never an opportunity to order another glass of wine. When they server cleared the appetizer plates, I told her about the 1 bad oysters, and thought she would replace it or remove it from the bill, she did neither. I had even ordered additional oysters with the meal so I had thought maybe she would add an extra there, but she did not.Not sure I would come back, place is nice and food was good but there are so many seafood places around with just as good of seafood and better service.

Our bartender and waitresses kept the drinks and food coming....I asked my bartender for a "surprise" beverage, seeing that I was indecisive to what spirits my pallet wanted to entertain this evening.Soon, my bartender came back with a Moscow mule - the first one definitely took the edge off, the second one, well.....let's say I felt like I was ready to compete in any salsa ??dance competition after taking an hours worth of their newly promoted salsa class. The food and the appetizer were filling, so my friend and I were happy to work off those calories by joining the establishments' very first ever salsa class. We were very excited to be a part of this feature event and hope they will permanently add salsa classes to the mix!

We called 1 hour ahead of time to ask if they were open or busy because we were coming soon. A lady on the line said we could come in that it wasn't busy. We arrived at the location and there were people inside. We were trying to open the door but everyone ignored us. Then we called again and the said that they were closed already.

We came in on a Wednesday night around 7:30 and were seated immediately. Staff was very courteous and attentive. We ordered a few different small plates to share and they were pleasing, but nothing earth-shattering. The standouts were the deviled eggs, buffalo cauliflower, and charcuterie board. The two salads I wouldn't order again just because they were fairly average. The menu online is out of date so be sure to check the physical menu when you come in. Very much a cocktail bar ambiance with small, tapas style bites.

We have eaten here several times and have consistently enjoyed excellent food and service. The shrimp and grits is one of our favorites, as well as the cheese/charcuterie boards.

WOW what a fantastic restaurant! This was our first dinner at Trident Galley in Hingham. Jay the Manager welcomed us and made us feel welcome and comfortable immediately. There's also a relaxed vibe in the dining room.First impression: 5 out of 5!The meal? I had the Portuguese stew that consisted of a plethora of seafood and lots of it! Shrimp, scallops, muscles, clams and more in a delicious tomato broth that was just perfect. My guests ordered the Catch of the Day which was haddock. Once they started eating it, they stopped talking and enthusiastically ate every incredible morsel. Yes, it was THAT delicious !High 5's for food, ambiance, service, price and presentation! This is definitely going to be one of our favorite restaurants and another winner by Chef/owner Brian Houlihan. Amazing!!!

Surprisingly good Charcuterie & Cheese options. Reasonably priced with different sizings/ options available. Lots of tapas/ small plate options too.Parking: There is a huge free lot a block away. There is some free on street parking adjacent, but it's limited.

Went here this past Monday because Wifey was craving oysters. This place was nearby and offered BOGO oysters. We were greeted and seated right away. Started off with 2 dozens. All were very fresh. Then we ordered: Clams 3 Way(must get!!), Cataplana, Haddock and Tuna tacos. We will come back very soon when she craves oysters!

Fun bar and dog friendly on the outside patio. Great food and beer list. The bar is usually open the latest in the shipyard.

Stopped in for a quick snack, we ordered the fried calamari for $22. What a ripoff! There were more fried jalapeños and onions than calamari, and what calamari we did get were ridiculously small.

I recently had the displeasure of waiting at a certain establishment, and I must say that my experience fell far short of my expectations. From the moment I walked through the door, it was clear that this place was not interested in providing a pleasant waiting experience. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive. It took an eternity for someone to acknowledge my presence, let alone assist me. There was no sense of urgency or professionalism displayed by the employees, which left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer.

9/17 sunday we arrived at 2:15pm and waited for a host to greet us, there was no one there to be found. Plenty of seats within the restaurant and outdoors. We used to come here every other month, so this is a disappointment. They were definitely under staffed and disorganized.
