“I don’t eat Italian food often because I don’t know how to order. So most time I order scampi or lasagna. In Mario’s I didn’t see lasagna on the menu. The lady with a big smile when we walked in came to assist. She said lasagna is such a popular dish in her restaurant so she does not need to put it on the menu but she will make me one. It was the best one I ever had. I love the sauce so much. It tastes smooth but not sour. Usually I’ll have some stomach upset after I eat tomato sauce dishes. But this time I didn’t have any problem. I even went to bed right after dinner without any issues. Love the place. Love the service. Love the atmosphere. If you’re traveling in Boston and stay near the airport, this place should be on your list to visit for your meal.“

Prepare to have very attentive service if you sit at the bar, where your water won't be left empty, nor will you need to ask for another drink. We were celebrating my husband's 75 birthday. We were seated at a long table in a private room and were treated in an attentive and very accommodating way. We live in Hingham but we didn't realize this place existed. It is honestly incredible. The food is very inventive and Versatile. In fact, potentially ruined us for all seafood moving forward as there is literally nothing negative to say!!! Victor and his family have a wonderful "hidden" gem here! My husband and I placed our order, and Victor came to notify us that his father was on his way from the boats with lobster, and there would be a wait, maybe 15 minutes. Had he not told us, we would have never noticed, as we were more than preoccupied by the amazing calamari, salad and fresh baked bread. My wife had the Fried Haddock Sandwich which has a great crispy breading and is perfectly fried (and huge). I had the French Onion Soup to start and the Marinated Steak Tips with rice. Both were great and the tips were cooked a perfect medium rare. The pour of the house Chardonay was generous and was tasty. The one negative (not enough to knock off a star) for me was the draft beer choices as there are no local craft beers to choose from, but a 20 oz Sam Adams for $5.50 makes up for it.Not on US1 but still pretty easy to get to. Will be back as the menu choices are extensive and want to try them all.“

The pace was perfect...neither rushed nor delayed, with nice little pauses between the arrival of drinks, salads and bruschetta, and main courses. The food was fantastic - creative, very fresh, and beautifully presented. I had the Chicken Gorgonzola and my sister had the Chicken Saltimbocca. Portions were very generous and we brought the leftovers home to enjoy again. The vibe was casual elegance with nice white tablecloths, great music, and since it was early afternoon, diners were seated with enough space between tables to allow quiet conversation. I started with a delicious mocktail, a “In Fashion” and then a non alcoholic Cabernet which was a little too sweet but a not bad switch from a real wine! (My turn to drive). Arincini, Eggplant Parm, and Spaghetti with meatball were all delicious. But what stood out the most was the excellent service. “I came here with some family the night before Thanksgiving to find the establishment empty at 6 pm but we had still made reservations in advanced as they are often busy. It appears as a small whole in the wall so I would highly suggest reservations if possible otherwise you would have a wonderful view to admire at the beach while you wait. For starters, we had their fluffy and plush white bread dipped in olive oil and garlic paste. Each of our entrees came with a starter salad topped with what appeared to be their Italian dressing. We also split their shrimp scampi appetizer with garlic bread. Conveniently enough, it came with 4 pieces of shrimp as well as bread, perfect for our party of 4. As a scampi lover, I was in my glory with the aromatic sauce on the crisp bread. Entrees included frutti da mare, eggplant special with their homemade fusili pasta, mushroom and cream ravioli and a side meatball. Everyone was very happy with their choices! The eggplant special was an eggplant parm but could have been fried a bite longer to retain a more substanial crust. The raviolis were limited but served with a rich mushroom sauce. I love, love, love the meatball though! It was soft, juicy, and flavorful. Dessert was a slice of limoncello cake with their fresh made whip cream. Although I am not a fan of citrus dessert, I kept coming back for more with this since it was still light and sweet. Overall, we had a great experience. Service was kind and consistent. Food was delicious and justified by the view and their prices. Parking can be difficult if on an especially busy day since it is strictly street parking. I would definitely come again and recommend others to too and BOYB since they do not serve alcohol!“

We miss driving a few minutes for their chicken kabobs subs, stake tips salads, and chicken wings… never disappointed. They have specials on Mondays half price pizza. On Wednesdays pasta dishes are half off. Salads are half off between 10 to 12 PM I believe. They also have Brazilian pizza special one day of the week. Their food is a bit pricey, so I go on the days Where there is a special. They also take food stamps! Although I don’t agree with people using their Foodstamps to eat at a restaurant, it does give those people an opportunity to use them if they want to. The chicken is great. No fat very tasty. No need to drive because the café is located just steps away.
