Came here because Spanky's had a long wait and the Black Cat was closed (Saturday after Tropical Storm Lee). The pictures of the menus are not what was offered today. The clam chowder was tasty but was only warm. The raw bar blend was good, but pricey considering you are served in a paper bowl and plastic fork. Service was great and the staff is friendly. The stuffed quahog and stuffed scallop appetizers were tasty. We decided to stop at apps and move on.

Man..... I hadn't been here in over 7 years and I still have to say that this is the best lobster roll I've had.... It's A Lot of lobster in a sandwich

I only had one thing here and it was great. Their lobster roll is huge, overflowing with lobster meat. The only criticism was it was a touch underdressed and none of the meat was shredded. But easy to overlook those because the lobster was fresh and tasty and a lot of it. Would go back for it!

Lackluster food. Plastic. Styrofoam. Visiting Hyannis from California. Plastic utensils. Clam chowder decent. Barnstable oysters were not served on ice. Eat them fast as they warm up in the hot weather. Ice berg salad was tiny. Salad dressing is not fresh - it's salad dressing packettes. $7 to add one piece of shrimp not worth it. Cesar salad was served in a to-go plastic container.Lobster roll with mayo was not worth the price. Lobster felt a few days old.Onion rings barely had onion and was over battered. Bloody Mary's were watery. Think twice supporting this business. The amount of plastic and styrofoam used in serving these horrible meals make you feel guilty. There is no reason a business should be contributing to global waste in this magnitude. For what you pay, you definitely deserve more.

Ordered lobster on a Caesar salad to take out. Person on the phone had no idea it was on the menu. Also ordered a side of French fries. Got cut up wilted romaine with crotons and shredded Parmasan cheese with a package of Ken's Caesar dressing!! The lobster salad was dry! French fries were sub par served with off brand katsup. For $50+ I got a cafeteria meal!! Not acceptable!!

Food wasn’t good and drinks had no alcohol/tasted funny. Waiter didn’t know anything about the menu. Waaaaayyy overpriced and entirely outdoors since there’s just plastic to shield from weather.

Nice place with a big bar, plenty of seating and lovely outdoor tables. The service is good and there is a good variety of beer and drinks. The food can be hit or miss. Chowder is always good. Salads are always sad. Food is served in takeout plastic or various cardboard boats, it's supposed to convey a casual Cape vibe but it doesn't quite work.

Seems like this place is run by sub Saharan Africans or something.

sadly, this place was terrible. service was aloof, oysters were not served on ice, and the list of issues goes on and on. To be fair, I think they were understaffed, but still, I can't recall many experiences that were this poor.my recommendation would be to chose another place.

Had lunch there this past Friday. We ordered lobster rolls. Excited for our first lobster roll of the season! It was inedible! A pile of warm old lobster meat on a cold hot dog roll. Side of warm butter. Strangest version of a lobster roll I have ever seen, but it truly was old tough flavorless lobster meat. And they charged us $42!!!!! For each inedible lobster roll.Sadly, after going here for many years, I'm not sure what has happened since covid but I would never recommend anyone eat here.

Visited this restaurant on a Thursday night and sat outside on the lower patio. It was pretty uncrowded, which was nice. I had the blueberry beer which was good and had floating blueberries in it.We ordered a dozen oysters which were good but the presentation was fairly disappointing. They just dunked them into those paper for holders and brought them out- I am used to getting that lovely ice platter with the fixings in the middle. We all got lobster- two of us the buttered lobster roll and one of us the lobster salad. The lobster roll was amazing. 12 ounce portion with huge claw meat pieces. I will say the roll could have better- maybe slightly toasted or thinner. The salad was basic but you're there for the lobster. I got coleslaw which I found good but not great- same with the fries when I tried my friends. Service was sparse to be honest, especially given the lack of tables. But of the three lobster rolls I tried that week this was the best!
