Had a great dinner with family on my birthday! The restaurant was packed with happy diners and the staff was extra accommodating as we waited a few mins for our table to be cleared and reset. The hostess knew we were celebrating and made it an extra special experience. All of the food was delicious - both during dinner and as leftovers (even the bread!). Can't wait to bring the family back here again soon.

Things taste fine. But I've gotten food poisoning twice here and I've only ever gotten food poisoning once in my entire life beforehand. ‍

Fabulous fantastic a great evening of food and service. A neighborhood gem that we only found during Dine Out but will return to again and again. Huge portions for their Dine Out menu - we tried it all and ate leftovers for several other meals. The salmon was unique and spot on; special seasonal salad perfect and carbonara not to be missed. We cannot wait to return. Thanks for treating us like family!

My best friend and I had an 8:30 reservation and were being rushed along (asked to order dinner immediately since kitchen was closing, same for dessert) with floors being swept by 9:15. I understand the restaurant closes at 9pm, so why are 8:30 and 8:45 reservation slots available?

This small space gets very loud and fills up quickly, for a reason. The food is incredible! Everyone is happy. The menu is long but you don't need to fuss, just pick something and it will come to you quickly, look amazing, and be delicious.

I have walked by this establishment everyday to/from work for the past three weeks and always notice how busy it is on Friday night’s. Tonight I decided to stop and have drinks along with dinner after a very stressful work week. This place is truly a hidden gem.I started out with an espresso, martini and a “Snack” Deep Fried Olives with blue cheese. Delicious!!Next, I had an “Appetizer” Pork Belly with citrus marmalade. Not disappointed!!Another expresso martini and ordered Expresso rubbed salmon with arugula and maple glazed sweet potatoes for my main entree. One of the best salmon dishes I’ve ever had. I saved half of the meal so I could have dessert. Ordered tiramisu and another espresso martini. Excellent food and drinks. The atmosphere was very soothing, and a great way to unwind after a long week at work. Mary Beth, my server, was very attentive to my needs, and the bartender, the other staff, are constantly working as a team, to make sure their patrons were well taken care of.By far one of the best experiences, I’ve had so far in Boston area and highly recommend a couples night out, a solo dining experience, or coming as a group. I will definitely be back before I head out of town.

Antonio's is an excellent neighborhood restaurant with very high quality food. Regulars were greeted warmly, and the place was bustling. The space is limited, and there was just enough space around tables that we had the privacy we like for conversation while we eat. The food was very fresh and made with high quality ingredients, and we loved our meals. Service was just attentive enough and not at all over-done. Staff clearly are keeping an eye on all the tables. We were not rushed at all, despite the fact that it was a Saturday night and the place was filling up. We had not been here since early 2020, and we will be adding Antonio's back into our rotation of weekend dinner spots.

I love coming back to my hometown and supporting the local restaurants. This place and sister restaurant Sophia’s Grotto have always been my favorite. The food is always delicious. Definitely start with the Olives and Dates! The Espresso Martini made by Sean is perfect. Our server Marybeth was very polite and helpful. Can’t wait to come back soon!

I went with my wife on Valentine's Day 2024. It was really busy, seemed like everyone had dinner reservations at the same time, right after work on Valentine's Day, a weekday.Hostess seated us immediately. Our server politely explained that is was a very busy night so the kitchen was a little backed up. My wife and I ordered a bottle of red wine, which was served very fast. For apps we had Arancini and a proscuitto "Ciabatta Bacari" (pizza). Both apps were very good.I ordered the crispy duck, my wife ordered the filet mignon. My crispy duck was delicious. I tried a bite of a my wife's filet, also very good. The server was very attentive and refilled our waters often. We were warned the food was going to come out slow, but that was ok, we enjoyed the night. Some of the other customers were being really rude, I could hear them talking down to the other servers. I commend the other servers not being patient and not reacting badly. What's the rush? Do they realize that everyone literally sat down and ordered at the same time? It's Valentine's Day. Enjoy being out for the night. Order more drinks. The restaurant has a real cozy romantic feel to it. Overall it was a great. While the food took longer than usual (I have eaten here several times before), it was still a great meal and great night out.

This place used to be an affordable option for good food outside of downtown Boston. Now, the food and drinks are just as expensive as you would find in the North End, but not as good. Tonight, the restaurant basically fell apart at the seams. We waited at least 90 minutes for our entrees while the wait staff apologized repeatedly and talked badly about the kitchen staff. My water glass was left empty for at least a half hour while we waited. The owner came over to our table to apologize, but he had clearly been drinking. They gave us a $25 gift certificate hoping we would give them another chance, but I don’t think that’s going to happen. We used to love this place. Very disappointed.

This is a great restaurant. I often take people here who are in town on business and it never disappoints. The decor, service and menu are outstanding. They have the best Carbonara around and he Tiramisu is also really good.

Wonderful Valentine's Night dinner My wife and I went here for our Valentine's Date 2024. It was packed. Every table was taken, good thing I made reservations weeks ago. We have been here many times before, we love this place. Despite the very busy night, the server (forgot her name) was very polite and professional and attentive. She politely explained because it's literally the busiest night of the year, the kitchen is slammed. We said no problem, just please bring us the bottle of wine we ordered. We got our wine immediately. My wife and I needed a long night out anyway, kids were driving us crazy that day and we had a free babysitter. We enjoyed our wine, and took our time. We had 2 apps, the mussels and fried scallops. They were delicious. I loved the mussels more. My wife and I always order 2 entrees and eat half of each. Our entrees were Duck gnocchi and sausage/pancetta rissotto. Both were amazing. But I did like the duck gnocchi better. The servers were working hard and seemed extremely busy. But that is Valentine's night at any good restaurant. Our server checked on us constantly, cleared our table as soon as our app plates were done. Even though it was an extremely busy night and the food came our a little slower than usual, it was still a great romantic dinner. The wine kept coming quickly. I strongly recommend this place if you live near Hyde Park

Antonio's Bacaro was an amazing surprise! We were consistently delighted from the fried olives, to the pasta, and mains (filets and eggplant, to the lemon cake and perfectly balanced martinis. We will definitely be going back!

The service was impeccable, the wine was delectable, and the food was delicious. The Espresso Salmon is to die for! My friends had the eggplant (wonderful) and the Short Rib Ravioli (exquisite). For appetizers, we had some broccolini and the fried olives - outstanding. Highly recommend. Wonderful craft cocktails as well.
