“First time trying this place, and me and my husband and I had the chicken wings amazing. They were well seasoned and fried. The Golden bbq sauce was very good, too. The Mozambique sauce was good as well but a little too spicy for me. The Garlic Parmesan sauce was good, too. The fries were on point as well it wasn't overcooked at all. The chicken tenders were nice and juicy it needed to be seasoned. Son wasn't a fan of the tenders but enjoyed the fries. I ate a piece of the tenders but dipped in the Golden bbq sauce, and it tasted good. The skillet cookie was amazing as well, and the ice cream had the right texture and consistency. My husband actually ate the skillet cookie with me and enjoyed it. The pizza smelt amazing, but I didn't order any. Next trip back to lakeville, I will definitely be getting the pizza.“

“Dave's diner is an absolute throwback, honestly I wish there was more diners like this around, the service here was exquisite, the food was really good, the only thing I would say was their home fries needed some more flavor just add some salt and pepper and they were great, I also got a vanilla iced coffee to go and it was made to perfection. The establishment is very welcoming and it gives that nice throw back feeling, the checkerboard floors, the red seats with the blue on the countertops gives it that old feeling and I hope this place continues to thrive.“

“My wife and I stopped here on the way home from an errand and were glad we did. We loved everything about this restaurant. My wife had the Corsair Grilled Quesadillas with bacon which she loved. I had the Loaded Piper Cub roast beef sandwich and it was awesome. Large servings and the home made onion rings are well worth the couple extra bucks for a side. The only problem for us is that this place is a little too far away from our house to visit too regularly, but we will definitely be back.“

Connie and Anne were extremely helpful the entire process always answering our questions and getting back to us in a very quick manner. The day of coordinator was also great, Matt made sure we had what we needed and helped the day go by smoothly. From the looks of the parking lot, which is in the back of the building, it seemed like it was going to be too full, but when we got inside, there were a decent amount of tables open and we were able to sit right away. This was my first time being there, but was with people who had been there before. At first, they were concerned that they were only going to accept cash as that had been the case previously. However, when we went in just yesterday, we saw that they accepted cards as well. The server was friendly, and the service was quick, which was exactly what we were looking for. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, which was just OK I would say. The English muffin was soft, and I usually like my toasted muffin to have a little crispy to it. The other picture is of the Portuguese hash omelette, which was well enjoyed by my partner. The home fries were very well, seasoned and quite tasty. the overall ambience was like an older country kitchen type place.“

“Had dinner here Tuesday night. We've had fish and chips at other restaurants throughout the years, some good and some not so good. The fish and chips we had here are the absolute best we've ever had. They were so delicious, and cooked perfectly! The portions were generous as well. It may be awhile before we try other foods on their menu because we'll want to keep ordering the fish and chips! The service was great and for a large place that atmosphere still seemed warm and inviting. The only negative was that from where we sat we could see windows and they were very dirty.“

“Well… my first visit. Reminds me of a good bar from the 80’s. I came her for the fish n chips because I was told it was excellent. I was smiling as I walked in. I think the decor is super cool. Pool table. Darts. Tables to play cards. Nice bar area. The folks who greeted me were just super pleasant. Like seeing your favorite Aunties. With all your Uncles drinking a bottle of beer at the bar and talking about life. Oh… and the fish n chips. A TEN out of TEN. Lightly breaded. Clean oil. Fries have some kind of salty/vinegary coating on them. (I think). Generous portion. You pay for it at 18 bucks but if it’s perfect… it’s worth it in my book. Treat for the week. Shhhhhh…. “I got take out. The food was good but the warm pita bread was Great!! We did have to ask for the pita (we got salads) but the take out worker had no problem running back in for me. “For several years now we have had fantastic meals here. Dinner on the back patio area enjoying acres of beautiful golf course views is so relaxing. watching the sun go down is awesome too. We are members now so we visit even more often. The food menu is more limited than usual right now (summer 2020) but even so there is still a large variety to choose from They are clearly focusing on quality and a nice mix of items. Last night I had the rib eye with a salad. It was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. My husband took advantage of their Thursday night burgers and brews promo and had the crispy buffalo burger with bleu cheese, hot sauce and chips. He said it was very good. The combo was $17. Last week we did the wine down Wednesday cheese platter with a bottle of wine and were very impressed with the items on the cheese board. The 2 visits prior i have had steak tips. Very good both times. in the past years they were hit or miss so I am happy! We also really enjoy their specialty salads. The new steak and cheese eggs rolls are very good, made even better with the red pepper aoli sauce. We have never had a bad meal here, the views are excellent and the staff is so helpful. It is also open to the public so if you are local, definitely try it.“
