“Kimball Farm is amazing. My entire family goes to the Lancaster and Westford locations all the time. The food is fantastic and the ice cream is wonderful. We’ve been going to these staples for the past 20 years. Beats the ice cream down the cape any day.Something is wrong with you if you don’t like them. It is absolutely amazing.“

For most, a visit will entail getting ice cream from their window stand, where, depending on the season, there may also be jams, apples, pumpkins, and donuts available. Of course, I can never resist ice cream when presented with the opportunity, so the Maine wild blueberry and the strawberry cheesecake were satisfyingly creamy, thick, and fruity choices for a warm fall day. There are makeshift chairs and tables outside the ice cream window. If you parked at the lower parking lot to the right of the window, you'll likely have admired the swan pond and the fields behind the main building. Another of their many activities is the breeding of endangered barnyard animals. Some of these were brought to the Americas by European settlers while others are indigenous. An admirable endeavor.“

“There should be a line out the door for this place! The guy that runs this place is a genius. The flavors have a tropical touch and they are so authentic and taste so fresh. If this place were in the city it would be crazy. You must go here! It's on the pricey side but I drive 40 miles to come here and it's worth it“

“They open on the first day of spring. Now open 2023. Great choices of soft serve flavors. Dairy queen is a soft service ice cream stand. They do not serve any other food at this location, from my understanding. Only reason I give 4/5 stars is because I don't think they have a public bathroom and there are only 3 or 4 small benches outside, to sit on. No inside seating. If it's busy then you have to stand outside to eat or have to go eat in your. If they got more outdoor seats or tables then it would be a better ice cream stand location.“
