I had a very bad experience with the staff there..I ordered my cake and when I went to pick it , it was not ready!!!I waited for half hr then when I got home my cake was half icing half cake , and tasteless!!! was soo disappointed….can’t recommend!!!!!!

Nothing special. Cakes are very average and the frosting dye they use stained just about everything. Very messy to clean face, hands and clothing.

The worst cake coupled worst service. Carlos, the owner, is totally unprofessional. The cake was dry and the frosting taste like the ink from the food coloring. I recommend you don't use this bakery for any cake you may need. Total s*** show and the bakery is dated and dirty!

Beware they do not make authentic Dominican cakes. They used a cool whip for topping not the merengue frosting that dominican cakes are supposed to have. If you want Dominican frosting DON'T go here. The cake was so gross. This was by far the worst tasting cake I've ever had in my life. Thanks for ruining my birthday.

Hello--I did return the off-tasting products; these were tasted by two staff members, who seemed to agree after conferring that the products did not taste good. One apologized and indicated that the products had not been frozen, but had probably acquired a freezer-burned taste from the refrigerated unit they use. She asked if I would give them another chance. I appreciated the apology and the refund, but I'm not sure what will change if their refrigeration unit may or may not impart a bad taste. If the bakery has equipment that detracts from the taste of their products, they'd best get some new equipment. But because I received an apology and a refund without argument, I'm giving Frederick's two and 1/2 stars to acknowledge their cooperative spirit.

I would give this yummy pastry shop 4 stars but I can't because customer service and respect needs to count for something. They might want to put up a wall between the bakers and the customers since one of their bakers doesn't realize how loud her words are. I've heard her on more than one occasion express her disgust with customers inquiries. Her comments have driven me away. I will buy my event cakes elsewhere. Too bad, it is an otherwise wonderful bakery.

I literally can't get over my first experience here. The man behind the counter (owner?) was so incredibly kind and welcoming! I just wanted to peruse, but he offered me a cookie- free!- and OH. MY. GOODNESS. It was so fantastic. I left with 24 cookies and 8 pieces of cake (not to mention the freebies he threw in). Oh. And by the way. Two cookies for a DOLLAR? Those prices don't exist anymore. And it's a nut free bakery. Like. Stop it. I'm in love. Everyone needs to go here.

Omg, where have you been all this time? My husband bought me a custom cake from here and he didn't call or order a cake. He walked in the pastry store and he was so welcomed he looked at the amazing display of really nice cakes and wanted a specific cake with lemon and raspberry filling buttercream cake but the one in the display had nuts all over it, so he explained what he wanted and explained allergy of nuts. The nice lady took his order and he had to pick up later in the day! That was it yes a fresh cake. We had some cake after dinner and let me tell you it was all worth it, it was delicious just right I had a great birthday!
