Parking can be quite challenging, which can be frustrating for visitors. Additionally, the surrounding neighborhood may not be the most desirable, so it's advisable to be prepared and exercise caution. Despite these inconveniences, the overall experience at La Cocina de Arismendi is unparalleled, making it an absolute gem for those seeking authentic cuisine in a serene and inviting setting.

Worst service I seen in a restaurant, we had to wait over 1 hour for our food, despite the place having only 2 tables with customers, food was just ok, the prices are outrageous for a restaurant in Lawrence, our check was over $75 without tips, only the locals will go to places like this one, thumbs down for sure, also no parking available, not worth it

One of the best dominican food places ever. It is pricey but worth it. Even my margaritas were amazing!!!! The place is instagramable. The only problem is parking.

Great, great, great restaurant. Really a cool vibe, and listen I've had many Pina coladas in my day but this Pina was over the top great. Mofongo --- I would never claim to be an expert in this beautiful art but hot damn that's delicious. 5 stars, straight up

I bought a picadera on 6/1/22 and a mofongo And it was one of the worst foods I had in Lawrence. My picadera’s meat felt like they refried it. The carne frita was so black and there was nothing I like on this besides the bola de mofongo. I spent $110 for food that was first to little for the amount charged and the food was disgusting. I left the food because no one wanted it.

We did not have a good experience, we ordered 3 mofongos and they were terrible, the one with longaniza and was disgusting , the one with shrimp was super salty and the one with cheese did not meet my expectations, we left them on the table and they charged us $89.82 dollars, in what very upset staffI don’t like it

Pésimo servicio y solo cuentan con una hoja del Menú que no se ve nada bien y todo sucio . Deben mejorar el servicio y tener más hojas de menú para que los clientes no tengan que esperar tanto y están satisfechos con el servicio

Looks that this restaurant was nice at some time, but know it's not. The place looks old, the men restroom door was broken. The service was good, but they charge 10% (not the tip) for service charge without notice. The idea to serve in wood plate is not good. The plate looks old. The prices are high for the quality of the food.

very good hot food. the workers/cooks are very friendly. main language is Spanish however some so speak English. it is also a bakery which is incredible. i love the bread pudding. it is like my grands and moms . they have eat in and delivery online but when u go there there are specialties not listed. i am going today to get two meals for a homebound friend. support this business. thanx love the kitchen/la cocina

We loved this place in the beginning.. the last view times we have ordered it has not been a good experience. Tonight was a deal breaker for us. The order was completely off. Apparently it was a busy day for them and they are short staff was the explanation given to me when I called. They have run out of rice and dressing. So they just sent what ever they thought would do. It do not do! (Plus the substitution was incomplete) why couldn't they call and ask if we wanted something different. With so many spanish restaurants in every other corner you would think they woild provide better customer service.Nothing was done to rectify the situation except they took our name and number for next time. That's not happening. You've lost two very loyal customers.??????????
